Games you'd like to see adapted to film

No game that I would like at least, recent adaptations have made me cry enough to significantly contribute to the rising sea levels.

I think Beyond Good and Evil could make a really good CG movie. It's a very long game, so they wouldn't have to cut a whole lot out.

Also, I know it was originally a comic, but The Darkness would also be great.

I was thinking of saying Uncharted, but the movie already exists... It's called Indiana Jones.

If they were to make a God of War film, then Vin Diesel would be perfect for it.

A TLoZ movie... it'd have to be more awesome than God though.

Video Game movies have a bad rep, only good one(In my opinion, obviously) is Mortal Kombat,

however anime adaptations have been quite good from time to time. Tales of the Abyss was done really well, and Gungrave was actually better than its original game,

And of course, the currently airing SENGOKU BASARA is awesome as hell if you like over the top samurai stuff.

The Dig... I just watched Deep Impact recently and all it did was make me think how cool a movie based on the game/book could be. I thought I'd read something about Steven Spielberg being interested at one point a long time ago, but clearly nothing came from that.

I've finally decided that I'd rather not see any games made into film.

It appears that no one can do it correctly, they're always utter failures and let downs.

Well I've never seen either film, nor have I played any of the games... so, I couldn't really say. I'm not saying there aren't a few acceptable films.... but I'd rather them just stop.

gears of war maybe? would do a cool action movie. too bad bruce willis is too old for action movies. would be cool to see him as the leader.

if the God of War movie sucks, im going to make gore vebinski eat molten lead for the rest of his cursed life.

maybe a tomb raider 3 when angelina jolie has stopped starving herself out by living of syrup and chili.

ive not played the first few tomb raider, bought anniversary 3 weeks ago. saw the cradle of life with a friend when we turned on the TV and then it was there. it was pretty good. also good seeing angelina jolie kick some ass in shorts, thin t-shirt u almost could look through when she was wet, and with dual pistols.

I thought Viewtiful Joe and God Hand would be good movies. Keep Uwe Boll as far as possible from them.

Dead Space and Resistance (but the movie would find a way to suck)

Dead Space already is. In fact, the film came out before the game. (so does that make Dead Space a movie to game adaptation?)

Personally, there's only one game I want to see made into a film. Half-Life. Frankly, it's one of the very, very small few games out there that actually has a decent story all but tailor-made for a film. Hell, it could be made into a whole series with the amount of narrative behind it. They could even go so far as to cover the Portal side story. Valve apparently shopped the idea around to a few movie studios. Some major, some not, but all of them submitted horrific and very poorly written scripts. Of which, Valve turned down.

However, that said, there is a Prince of Persia film in the works. It's being spear-headed by Jerry Bruckheimer productions and the script is being co-penned by the original creators and writers of the original game as well as Sands of Time (and some Hollywood writers, who knows). I'm cautiously optimistic about it.

That's the 2nd movie right? Wasn't that one supposedly worse than the first? (assuming the first is good). The chances of me taking the time to watch them are low... but if I come across them with nothing to do, I'd give em a look.

Also.... Angelina Jolie doesn't sell me on films... I'm above all that noise.

I don't remember where I heard this, but Mickey Rourke as Marcus. I think it could work.

Halo. There has been talk about it for the longest time, but nothing has ever been true. Last summer they said it would apear in theaters this summer but it won't.

Other than that Zelda would be awsome

i normally hate Angelinas looks too, but she looks good in tomb raider. i havent seen the first 1, as it was a coincedence i found it.
