I think, if that were the option, the Legend of Zelda: a Link to the past, or Super Ghouls n' Ghosts (Not that new PSP version, cuz that was shitty, the ***** of a SNES version that I loved and Hated at the same time cuz you could NOT win XD)

I would like to see Counter-Strike or Day of Defeat for Xbox360!
It will never happen sorry, the games were made from the ground up for the PC. It wouldn't function on consoles (I.E. console controls) I shudder the kick on the BAR in DoD:S using a 360 controller.

There is a mod called Black Mesa that is making a remake of it using the source engine. It would be released sometime this year.
You forget that Counter-Strike was already made for the Xbox, and the controls were quite fine to be honest.

That being said, it can be done on the 360 as well, if not better.

I can only think of one: Final Fantasy VII. It had good potential as it became a movie, but before then the graphics were dumbed down plus its hard finding a non-scratched copy near me and my PS2 Slim Doesnt read PS1 Discs well...or any PS1 Memory Cards either.

Septerra Core, the only turn based game I ever liked. I'd like a remake of it as a First Person Shooter or third person action game.

Planescape: Torment, a fucking masterpiece of a game.

Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines, it might actually be an awesome game if they fixed it, and maybe expanded it a bit.

Mercs 2, it doesn't even have to be changed, just take out all the glitches and bugs and the gaming community might finally be able to enjoy it without frustration.

I have some games that would really be fitting the online Marketplaces and Networks (all include no experiments, just updated graphics, music and maybe controls):

- Flashback: The Quest for Identity (the white-shirt-PC-version)
- The first Pandemonium! (PS1)
- Thief 1+2 (PC)
- Soul Reaver 1+2 (PS1/PS2... and they would look gorgeous!)
- Gabriel Knight 1 (PC)

Half Life 1 is kinda being remade, I think it's called Half Life: Black Mesa or something. Some labour of love by fans that Valve have ackowledged. I'd link info but I'm just so damn lazy

It Came from the Desert. An amazing mix of adventure, action and strategy, way ahead of its time. Remade with todays technology it could easily be just as great as the original.

"Albion". The story's still great, but the graphics haven't aged well... And you could throw voice acting into the bargain...

I'm sure it has been said ad nauseum already, but I'll add my voice to those clamouring for an FF7 remake. Change nothing but graphics, though, or you'll get something resembling the "Indiana Jones finds a Crystal Skull" movie that never happened. Well...maybe implement the FFX-2 battle style...it was much faster than the previous games, and gave the illusion of real-time combat.

007 Goldeneye. Maybe some refined graphics/character models and a few new levels.

NBA Jam: Tournament Edition. The over-the-top dunks were great and worked crazy well with the two-on-two gameplay. A remake would open new possibilities of over-the-top slams and insane team-ups.

And finally...

Rush 2: Extreme Racing USA. The courses were realistic and imaginative representations of real-life cities and locations (the "location" being Alcatraz Prison), the cars were awesome and of course it was a realistic without it being one of those assfests that had to deal with a racer's number one hinderence: laws. And by "laws" I mean both of the "of physics" and "long arm of the" varieties. There were no cops and jumps would send you careening over rooftops and the competition. And of course there were crazy shortcuts. My favorite was in the New York Uptown level where you could literally do 360s in the subway tunnels. I wish I was kidding, it was crazy. Even more so when you do it OVER A MOVING SUBWAY TRAIN. Or in the Hawaii level, there was a shortcut through the middle of a volcano and on aircraft carriers. And with the new technology around, imagine racing in Rome and hitting a rooftop jump that sends you flying over the Colosseum. Or racing on the Great Wall of China. Or even a race through the Chunnel!

Well personally an Earthbound remake would be nice and technically final fantasy 7 was already remade but with a much different style (the psp version, not sure of the name)
