Golden Sun 4: I really liked the Golden Sun GBA games. The follow up for DS was fun, not as great, but still fun. Unfortunately it didn't sell well and even though the ending was pretty open I'm not sure how likely it is that there will be a sequel.

Metroid is another series I have some worries about. After the Other M debacle I haven't heard a single thing about a future Metroid game. I'm worried they've just decided to pull the plug given that Metroid has never been as great a seller as their other IPs (maybe it was because they kept trying to release them during the launch windows for the Halo games...).
If they'd come up with a story following up Metroid:Fusion (IIRC its the last game chronologically) that probably would wipe out any of the feelings associated with Other M.

Battle for Middle Earth. Behind Age of Mythology and Stronghold Crusader my favourite strategy game. EA lost the license though so they cant even continue to sell BFMI:2

I'll try not to repeat already mentioned games

Creatures - not the pet simulator but old Commodore 64 platformer. Brilliant games with massively sarcastic and morbid sense of humor where cutesy creatures creatively dismember each other from time to time.

Project Firestart - First cinematic survival horror and still my favorite game in the genre that doesn't really appeal to me.

Shadow Hearts - Koudelka, Shadow Hearts and Shadow Hearts Covenant were awesome, Shadow Hearts From the New World not so much (couldn't bring myself to finish it how stupid it felt) but there is still a possibility to return to greatness.

Don't know if this has been said yet but I would love a sequel to Vanquish or Binary Domain. Both are very fun shooters, set in sci-fi worlds. Funnily enough they are both Japanese games showing their take on Western Third Person Shooters and they both rock in different ways. Vanquish was arcadey in focus with fast paced game play and Mass Effect Style visuals while Binary Domain was more a clean Gears of War with really fun robots to destroy (One boss was a giant robot spider that you blew up with rocket launchers).

Sadly both games were not marketed that much and have fallen into the either with many original properties launched at the start of the year to fill the post Christmas slump. I have no idea what they would do in sequels since they actually do wrap themselves up pretty well but I am sure the game play would be fun a second time round with new features.

I would also like a Donkey Kong 64 2 or a 3D Kirby/Yoshi/any cartoon character on Nintendo consoles. There is just something about Nintendo characters that work in 3d platformer games. Sadly it seems Nintendo prefers the tried and true 2d style of plat-formers except Mario who gets to live in the 3d world as well. That is not enough though, so hopefully SONIC BOOM!!!! is able to fix this.

I want a sequel to Saints Row 2. It's pretty much my favorite game ever and hit the balance between crazy and a fantastic gang story perfectly. As fun as 3 and 4 were neither really resembled 2 at all. I would love a direct continuation in Stillwater with the full cast that follows up on the implications of the epilogue rather than just having them show up as celebrities in the next game.

Other than that I really want a Warcraft 4. The Frozen Throne was the last RTS that I truly loved the story in, and as much as I enjoyed the years I played WoW it has done no favors for the Warcraft lore. Though at this point between Diablo 3's joke of a story and the soap opera that Starcraft 2 has turned into I don't know if I actually trust Blizzard to make a good successor anymore.

Remembered few more

Lost Vikings - Blizzard was awesome even before there was Blizzard :)

Destruction Derby - race courses that had intersections! Not roads, race courses. So, T-Boning opponent is perfectly legal and regular thing.

I'm glad I'm not the only one interested in another Jade Empire. No one ever really talks about anymore, at least among people I know. I'm also glad to see people want another good Tenchu; I loved the old ones but thought Z was borderline unplayable. For those who liked Tenchu, I recommend the 2012 2D game, Mark of the Ninja.

-I'd also kind of like a sequel to the original Red Faction. The other games in the series weren't bad, but I really thought the first had something that other games in the series lacked. Granted, that could just be nostalgia. Everything I just said could also apply to Way of the Samurai.

-Bushido Blade. I really enjoyed its different, more realistic take on the fighting genre.

-Blitz the League. Entirely too much of my college experience was spent getting drunk and beating my friend by >100 points in both of those games. The original Blitz is cool and all, but I loved the over-the-top gameplay and story of Blitz the League. While I'm on the topic of arcade sports games, I'd really like another The Bigs, NHL Hitz, and NBA Street (though I didn't really care for NBA Street Homecourt).

-I never played it because it doesn't sound like they executed the concept well, but I'd like someone to try to make a game like Republic: The Revolution.

Trauma Center. I remember buying a Wii-U Because I heard rumors at TGS a few years ago that at ATLUS' booth, they had a trailer for a game with no release date. It was just still images but the trailer ended with saying "Trauma Center; coming to Wii-U." And that got me super excited. I love the Trauma Center games, they are the reason I keep my Wii now, and the prospect of another one after Trauma Team got me very excited, and I loved Trauma Team.

Buuuuut then I heard nothing else on it and I got very sad. Sold my Wii u a few months after. I would love to see another Trauma Center tho. Big time.

Crash Team Racing (Crash Nitro Kart doesn't count)
I want to play an actual sequel developed by Naughty Dog.

Also Wild Arms, A good sequel on the same quality and battle system as the first three that were made, none of this hexagon crap.

Another Trauma Center game. I dunno if they plan on making one for the WiiU, but that'd be great if they did. Or one for the 3DS, that's be even better. Under the Knife 2 was amazing

Knights of the Old Republic- The setting is awesome, I love loved the extended Star Wars universe and the olden times were my favorite. But with The Old Republic out and the extended universe disbanded, my chances are low.

Brutal Legends- Takes the term "niche game" to a whole new level. I'm pretty sure the only people who enjoyed this game were metalheads and maybe a few people who enjoyed the gameplay. I loved the setting, characters, and soundtrack. I would, love but probably never will, see a sequel to this game.
Ninja'd by first response...

So apart from KOTOR 3 and Brutal Legend 2 I would also like to see;

Psychonauts 2 - This has so much potential for creative minds and levels.

Banjo-Threeie - Nuts&Bolts was a decent spin-off...but I want the real thing! Too bad Rare has been gutted by Microsoft.

Kingdoms of Amalur 2 - Won't happen because of how massive it failed and sent people bankrupt but it was a really solid game and had a lot of potential.

Psi-ops

Advent Rising

Both games ended in cliffhanger and both games are unlikely to have another entry, Psi-ops due to licensing issues and Advent Rising due to poor sales I think. But both games are great especially Psi-ops, for those who played it they'll know what I'm talking about.

It got some of the best controls and power in a game that has yet to be replicated to it level even to this day, you can use telekinesis to pull fuel tank and throw it at a mob with precision, TK mobs and objects with total control....And the boss fights are amazing!!

One fight had the boss throwing containers at you with TK and you had to catch it mid flight and throw it back at him, fucking epic!!!

Edit: Battlezone, it got unique action/shooter/RTS in one game........they don't make those anymore.

Mega Man X: I've been aching for a new game in the X series for years. But I would want to game to be more like the original 3 on the SNES. Back when Mega Man 9 came out I had hoped the X series would eventually get the same treatment with a new 16-bit style game.

Rogue Squadron: I loved these games. Getting to engage in dogfights with all those different ships was great. Story mode was also usually pretty fun to play through as well.

Brutal Legend: I actually enjoyed the RTS bits. More importantly I really enjoyed the world, story and characters in the game.

Tetrisphere: One of the best games on the N64 and it's never gotten a new iteration. I never even see it mentioned anywhere. It was a really unique and fun take on the Tetris franchise.

2D Castlevania: I would prefer something like Symphony of The Night, but at this point I'd take anything 'classic' Castlevania I could get. Really getting tired of the attempts to make the series a Devil May Cry/Shadow of The Colossus hybrid.

Advent Rising: I'd actually like a sequel and a remake of the original game. But they have to bring back Tommy Tallarico as the composer. His music is part of what made my initial experience with the game so great(despite its flaws).

Star Fox: I can't emphasize enough how much I want a new Star Fox game. The last good Star Fox game I played was Star Fox 64... and that came out almost 20 years ago (and now I feel old). I'd like to see it a bit darker in tone like the original on the SNES.

Enslaved: Oddessy To The West. Left off on a pretty bleak, uncertain point (SPOILERS, if you care about a game that's been out a few years now)

You basically discover the up-to-that-point evil slavers are actually alright guys who were trying to put people in a computer simulation (i think?) of pre-war memory's so that they could escape the horror of the post apocalypse through the use of specially designed masks. Monkey, the protagonist, try's one, and is enthralled by the simulation. Trip, his companion, however, destroys the simulation and the guy who made it possible anyway: Leaving the 'slaves' once again stuck in the apocalypse, Trip confused about her actions, and Monkey very quiet.

The thing is, we never learn how this affected either character or their relationship (unlike a certain, more recent game that was remarkably similar), and we never learn of the fates of those trapped in the pyramid. In general, just felt very unresolved.
That actually sounds pretty intriguing... Eh, I'm gonna blame the marketing for that as I usually do for cult-classic games that never really sell well. What was the other game that was similar to it though?

Mechwarrior. I want another big stompy mech game made with modern technology. MWO does not count because it is multiplayer-only. PvP-focused games always come down to who metagames best, which is always detrimental to the actual gameplay itself. I want a long, branching single player campaign with moderately complex controls, and possibly the ability to invite other players to join your lance in some missions.

I would also say Wing Commander, except Chris Roberts is giving us something even better in the form of Star Citizen.
+1

I remember spending so many hours on mw2 and the expansions
