The Witcher 2 is probably my most anticipated.

Everything I read about the game only ramps up my curiosity and excitement. First game was damned fun and I really enjoyed it, can't wait to see what the developers are capable of pulling off now that they've a new engine and some experience under their belt. Hard to believe The Witcher was actually their first product, many other studios struggle for years in B-list developer Limbo and here's this spunky lil' Polish developer with their first time efforts being an award winning million+ sale hit!

Beyond that there are a couple games I'm curious and even eager to learn more about: The new Heroes of Might & Magic game, Diablo 3, Mechwarrior 5, Deus Ex 3 is looking pretty neat, Battlefield 3 will undoubtedly fill my crazing for shooter violence, and I'll probably be picking up Dawn of War 2: Retribution when it comes out. But at the same time I'm not craving getting my hands on those games like I am The Witcher 2.

Oh, and maybe we'll finally see something revealed about the new Thief 4 supposedly in development. C'mon, don't you dare screw it up!

Nothing, really.

Prototype 2, Deus Ex 3 and Thief 4 might get interesting, but I'll wait until reactions are out. Eidos screwed up with Thief 3 in many a fan's opinion, so people wonder how they'll deal with these sequels of Deus Ex and Thief. And Prototype 2 changes the main character, which is always a gamble.
So yeah, I'm not exactly looking forward to those, but news about them is more likely to interest me. Let's put it like that.

God-damn sequels. But I guess that's how you make money these days, you build up franchises.

In order of release (to the best of my knowledge):

1. Marvel vs. Capcom 3. Another addition to one of my favorite fighting series ever (one of my favorite game franchises in general, really) with updated graphics and a new character roster featuring a great mix of returning favorites and exciting new additions from both companies. I'm thinking of trying Deadpool, Dante, and Zero as a sort of go-to "guns and blades" team.

2. Dragon Age 2. I'm a little bit afraid that the overall structure of the game may shift more towards Mass Effect than the original, but I trust BioWare, and I'm excited to see the game's world with a shiny new graphics engine. Plus, you can upload your original character data; sure, your original Warden won't be playable again, but all of the decisions made during the first game will follow through.

3. L.A. Noir. Between GTAIV and Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar has proven that they're maturing as storytellers. I'm a little worried about just how well the investigation and interrogation mechanics will be implemented, but I can't wait to try them out.

4. Mortal Kombat. The series is finally going back to its roots with a time-bending retcon in the style of JJ Abrams' Star Trek flick. All the best characters are coming back, and they're focusing on brutal fatalities again.

5. Mass Effect 3. Do I even have to explain this one? The final act of one of the best video game storylines ever. I can't wait to see how major decisions from the first two games will shape the eventual outcome, as well as which crewmembers will or won't return.
