Well, I started Oblivion a few months back, but with replaying other games, school, work, and homework, I haven't gotten back to it...

and Final Fantasy 9 (I've played all the other big ones)

EDIT: Ive also never played any Half Life game or Portal so I should probably do that eventually so that I can get more jokes than the cake one

Portal is actually really fun the first time through. It's free on steam now too (or was, last time I checked.) You no excuses, get to it!

I'd been about a generation behind for a long time, up until a couple years ago when I got a Wii and DS. Even so, I'd still have quite a bit of lag between a game coming out and me picking it up. As an example, I bought Pokemon Platinum not too long ago even though it'd been out well over a year, at that point, and D/P a couple years before that.

I think you're missing the point of this thread. This is about games that have been out awhile, not games only a few days old.
As for me, Mass Effect 1. Before that, I only got The Orange Box this February.

I just finished Planescape: Torment a few weeks ago. One of the best games I have ever played. Now I just have to go through Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 too.

I haven't gotten a new game in a while... most recent are Red Dead Redemption (just got my own copy recently, but was playing a friend's copy for about 1/3 of the game before I moved.)

and TF2. Got it 3 months ago. And I've played it more than some games I've had for years.

I'm JUST NOW playing Battlfield: Bad Company 2 after getting sick and tired of the same crap playing Modern Warfare 2, even though I have Front Mission Evolved and CoD: Black Ops to look forward to in the next couple of months, BFBC2 gives me something else to do too

Only finished HL2 and the episodes a few days ago. Was a bit meh-ish at first, but I liked the game quite a bit as I kept going and it's definitely something on the whole
