So I've been playing LA Noire on and off for the past few months and I've just been moved onto the vice desk.
I've put several hours into the game but I just can't go on, especially after the last mission I completed. It involved finding a piece of poetry that is supposed to give a clue as to where you go next, which will give you another poetry piece - but I found it them all too hard to figure out, so the mission basically involved me driving around until Cole said: "Hey, this is where you're meant to go."
Even if you cut out the time I wasted being stupid, all that mission involves is an hour and a half of driving around, interjected with crap action sequences.
I was bored before, but this mission was just the last straw and I'm probably never going to play it again.
Another game that I spent hours on and almost didn't finish was Final Fantasy 8. My two brothers got bored of it too. In this case I picked the game up again like a year later just so we could see the ending.
So what games have you spent ages playing but know you won't finish?
