Doom 3 - Got to Delta Labs, Hard Drive failure. Got annoyed. 5 months later, Got to Delta Labs again, another Hard Drive failure. Haven't tried again since.
Quake 4 - Boredom
Bioshock - Couldn't stay focused around the 'masterpiece' section.
Batman Arkham Asylum - Couldn't find the time, then just forgot about it

Most recently Dragon Age, It was a lot of fun for about 40 hours, then I just lost interest. I also never managed to finish Morrowind.
Yea, I did the same thing. After playing through a few areas the whole thing starts to feel really contrived.
It wasn't really immersive to begin with but I do want to finish at least one playthrough. I'll just have to do it in spurts.

Tomb Raider Anniversary and 8, got bored half way through both. WoW, had stopped playing on BC, tried WOTLK but no good either, not even bothered to try Cataclysm(just the original was WoW, burning crusade was WoW for noobs and Wrath of the Lich King is WoW for brainless 12 y-old). Almost all facebook games (except for Mafia Wars, is sustainable with some friends in your mafia and u can play for like 1 hour before u get out of actions for the next 10 hours). Spore (what a disappointment, glitchy and bored after 2 days). Civilization, I stopped playing every instalment when the new came out (now I am reviving the older ones since Civ5 is taking so fucking long to come out). Populous, damn, I really need to go back to that quite old game now, but I stopped on the 2nd or 3rd planet of that solar system, many years ago.

Disgaea 3, I think this i the only one I just stopped playing flat-out. It was because of the length, I liked the game and thought the humour was cute, but I honestly can't make a 150+ hour time commitment to beat a game and explore the content unless it's something with active combat or quick/turn based combat that doesn't involve stopping to think every turn. It's hard to explain how I really feel about different forms of turn-based combat, but I haven't been able to play a game like that in a good long while.

Assassins Creed - The controls on the PC version are horrific.
Genesis Rising - EVIL missions.
Gotta' love your persona picture. Yeah, I quit playing that on the sound level. I could never figure the flounder dub-level out. I cheated and got the good ending.

Also, I stopped playing Oblivion, I got to the last level of FFVII Dirge of Ceberus and quit, and many, many more. Mostly PS1 titles that sit in my bedroom collecting dust and calling to me from under my bed...

I almost did it with both God of Wars I and II, because I played on Very Hard mode (God in I and Titan in II) and couldn't get past a certain part and got upset so I stopped, but I then beat it in a sitting on Very Easy mode on both games.

Two Thrones is another game. I like it, I just have so many other games

I've actually got a lot of games I haven't beaten, or only played once, so for those who haven't heard me already say it, I'm going back through and randomly playing all the games I own again start to finish. I paid for the games, I might has well finish them and get more enjoyment out of them, why not? Eh?

Borderlands...played through more than twice and just stopped. I always go back to games on
the PC that can be modded for replays.

Assassins Creed 2
Bioshock 2
Batman: Arkham Asylum

I finished the first Bioshock and loved it, assassins creed was ok the first time, but I find I've grown more picky when it comes to games. Also COD4, only due to it wouldn't let me connect and stay playing with friends.

I do it with most games.

Some games I'll play through (Uncharted 2, Mass Effect 2, Bioshock), but the vast majority I'll drop. I think it's the pacing that gets me; if I step away from the game I'll not want to come back to it (this happened with Dragon Age: Origins - I put like 30 hours into it, but I haven't felt like playing it since I put it down).

I think another big thing for me is the lack of community - I really like MMOs for that reason and those games also take the longest for me to lose interest in.

For as silly, outrageous, and downright spectacular feet's JRPG's pull off in game, at least they do stuff differently.
That

Is

HYSTERICAL!

Do you really believe that, or are you just that self-delusional?

Sorry, sorry... I didn't mean to come out as a prick, but I just found that funny as hell.

OT: Recently I've started playing Valkyria Chronicles again after a loooooong hiatus. I was spent after the damn desert mission against the Prince and his ÜberTank of Death and Doom, and was basicaly recharging my bateries to proceed with the campaign. Played the hell out of the DLC, though.

I also stopped playing Persona 3 FES, mainly because my girlfriend was playing at the same time as myself, and she moved ahead in the story, so I went from playing my own story to becoming a spectator to hers.

Fable 2: Not bothered
Star Ocean The Last Hope: Long and REALLY bad voice acting
Eternal Sonata: Cutscenes too long
Tekken 6: MW2 is addictive
Gears of War 2: Lag and Host adv. pisses me off
Bioshock: Can't be arsed
Fallout 3: Boring
Borderlands: I have no idea
Darksiders: Don't know I always get near the end of games and just stop
Left 4 Dead: I find online versus shooters more fun, still a good game though.
Army of Two: Dunno
Halo 3: Gameplay is just crap compared to gears of CoD

And 20 more I just cannot remember

FF 13.

As much as I was poked and proded to keep going, and how the next 12 hours had the good stuff. I didn't see it. The game just bores me. It's a pretty pretty action game....but no role play to be found or world to explore. Just run forward. Mash buttons...maybe you'll win.
