Fallout 3. On the other hand, I really liked Oblivion.

GTA games I find are fun for an hour or two every few weeks or so, but no more.

The Grand Theft Auto series. I never understood why people love those games. I actually really enjoy the saints row series, but GTA is just not fun for me.

I don't know why you put "Got" in quotation marks but Starcraft 2, Minecraft and Shogun: Total War 2 are among the thousands of games I haven't purchased.

OT: I've never understood the appeal of MMORPG's or more specifically, World of Warcraft, the only MMORPG I've ever played. I tried it and, after completing a few of the beginners quests as an Orc I said "This is boring, I've got more interesting games to play." and went to play some other games that weren't about the grind. I've got nothing against WOW and maybe it gets better at later levels or with a bunch of friends but I like games that are story based or have varied gameplay and I like to split my time between many games. These two things prevent me from understanding why WOW is fun.

Bioshock fits square in this category. There just isn't anything there that I can get excited about. The fact that its corridors exist in hub format does not change the fact that it is still a corridor shooter. And speaking from a console perspective, the gunplay isn't very good. Sometimes developers can get the 'fps with thumbsticks' thing down to a passable level (like halo) but bioshock's aiming just feels wrong, like it's unresponsive or something can't really put my finger on it. overall it's just a meh for me.

I'm gonna have to go with the OP and say almost anything by Rockstar. GTA is fun for awhile, but I ended up just slogging my way through to the end. The same thing happened to me with Red Dead Redemption. Halfway through I found myself not caring anymore.

While I do love Bioshock, this is my one qualm with it. I really got into the atmosphere, story, and setting, but the gunplay (due to the odd aiming) drags it down a little.

World of Warcraft. Its overly simplistic, noticeably repetitive, and full of idiots yet has 12 million subscribers. People obviously don't value their own free time much.

Most RPGs, although I spend most of my time on MMORPGS like WoW and RO. I think its the solo aspect I don't like, as well as the combat system. I love the Zeldas cause I can run around for hours swinging my sword at walls or just generally screw around with my weapons, but you can't in a lot of the RPGs I've seen/played. Some of them have got me for years (Pokemon) but those I had someone around me to battle with. Now heres the twist, I hate most of the multiplayer exclusive games. I can't understand why you want just one game with minor differences when there isn't any story other than KILL IT or STEAL IT or something. I can't get into Team Fortress or the like any more than Final Fantasy. I think its the balance that is what I desire. Story, Teamwork, Dicking-around-potential. Those are some of my favorite games.

Morrowind. My experience with morrowind? Endless amounts of bloody cliff racers which took any enjoyment there might have been out of exploring, being terrified of ever selling anything in case it was a quest item, missing enemies at point blank range and NPC?s drowning themselves in water all the time due to pathing errors. The enemies were pretty interesting at first but the game just ended up being really boring.
Oblivion had better combat but was just full of copy pasted environments. I still enjoyed it but only because of the mods for it.
Assassins creed, way too much dicking about and doing the same dam side quest over and over again. Finding flags and templar?s wasn?t enough motivation to actually explore properly and since the parkour was all done with a single button and you just hold it down an run in the direction you want to go there really was no enjoyment with that either. Not to mention apparently walking faster than a dawdle means your an assassin. I would have thought the guy walking very very slowly thru a crowd of busy people walking at a normal pace would draw more attention... I supose its his fualt he is so easy to pick out with the weapons and the fact that the assassins all wear a uniform with a bright read sash. I hear the 2nd game is much better tho, maybe I will try it eventually.
Pretty much all MMORPG?s
Just don?t understand the appeal. Most of them are too grind heavy. Kill x amount of monsters to level. Occasionally do a side quest which is probably either going to be kill x amount of monsters or collect x amount of item with and X% drop rate from a certain monsters. What is the point?
Also never managed to get not a JRPG tho to be fair I haven?t given them much of a chance. I just don?t like the style or the combat generally.

The Halo series, just about everyone i know is of the mindset "OMG!!!11!!! TEH HALOZ" but it took me three separate attempts over a course of two years to finish the first one.

Call of duty, Need for speed, Dead Space, Resident Evil, and other similar titles
