Here's my list of games. As a general rule, the older the game, the more times I beat it. Games tended to be shorter back in the 16-bit era.
Dead Rising - 360. So many different weapons and no shortage of zombies to kill. Love that Real MegaBuster too. The leveling up added a lot of life to the game, as did the photography aspect. However, it still irks me that the weapons "magically" disappear after only a few dozen uses without any books to reinforce them. Even the books reinforcing the weapons idea is pretty funky.
Black - Xbox 1, has awesome guns, explosions, and a highly destructible environment. Being able to unlock unlimited ammo just adds to the fun. When I want to just blow stuff up, nothing beats this game.
Star Trek: Armada - PC. I didn't like it at first. It was my first RTS. I warmed up to it though. It's still the only RTS I like though. I'm not sure why. Something about it, but I just enjoy stomping the computer into the ground. I like Trek, but there are a ton of Trek games I don't like. I've played this game on & off for years. I've played this more than any other game now.
Star Trek: Bridge Commander - PC. Really feels like I'm the captain of a star ship. You can take control of specific things like engineering, helm control, weapons and targeting, etc, but you don't have to micromanage everything. You can focus on just a few & trust the crew on the rest. The battle simulator that pits you against a friend or the PC in ships of your choice was fun too. The ships you could mod it with added life too.
Iron Soldier 1&2 - Atari Jaguar (go ahead and laugh at the Jag, but those 2 games were awesome) It had, by far, the longest draw distance I'd ever seen in a game AND a smooth frame rate. It wasn't until the 360 & PS3 that I regularly saw draw distances like that. It was a fun mech game with cool weapons, and it didn't bog you down with nit-picky details.
Eternal Champions on Sega CD. TONS of characters, most were interesting, some were even funny (like the chicken, monkey, and US Senator), tons of moves. Overly gory moves and lots of them. Excellent story even. It had a very high production level and very well done cinemas telling the story thanks to being on the Sega CD.
Golden Axe - Genesis. Good, old fashioned hack-and-slash fun. Beat it countless times.
Streets of Rage 1& 2 - Genesis. See Golden Axe
