Well, I wish square neve joined with Enix personally. They have only ever made one game I liked and that's KH2. Other then that, gehck.
I don't know about that. Not that they aren't planning updates to fix it, but weren't these things they should've listened to people about when they got them all to be free Beta testers earlier this year instead of waiting for the paying customers to do the Beta testing.Lula21 said:It does seem like SE is listening to some extent and are (slowly) fixing things. They released an update last night that fixed some of the issues that have been a real problem for players and apparently they have some kind of fix for the market coming next week. I don't know if it's a full blown auction house, but something is coming.
So yeah, maybe by the March and the PS3 release comes this will be a playable game.
Definitely. I'm not saying that they haven't messed up big time (because they have) but that at least some of the things mentioned in the review will probably get fixed.RowdyRodimus said:I don't know about that. Because when things don't change they stagnate, start to smell, then die. Then the company sells you parts of the rotting carcass. A series won't survive if it refuses to change, and I can't help but feel that nostalgia has a large part of why people play those old games. These games need to change, but they also must be very careful not to change for the worse. I also highly doubt that an old school RPG would translate well to an MMO.Demonicfox said:I won't lie i have the game and it's not that good i think it got the score that it deserves i played it for about 2 weeks and i was still in the first damn town because it doesn't tell you what to do
And yes they are loseing there touch i wish they would just got back to the basics when it came to RGP's because they where awosome back then and really why did they have to change so much nowadays considering that most new RPG's are just ok nowadays when back in the old days they kicked ass and are still being played all the time.
I say go back to the basics and see what you did back then and consider what you could do the make your games better but knowing squire they won't.
I wouldn't hold your breath though. From what I hear they had months of beta in which they fixed basically nothing and there are so many things they need to fix, and on top of that there is so much content they need to make.Lula21 said:It does seem like SE is listening to some extent and are (slowly) fixing things. So you are that dense. Thanks for confirming. Metacritic lists every review out there that they can find, so that you can read multiple opinions instead of just one.Sir John the Net Knight said:Metacritic is a tool for fanboys to shove a game down my throat after I said I didn't like it. Metacritic doesn't take my opinion into account so I fail to see why metacritic overrides my opinion. I'm never going to allow metacritic to influence my tastes. If you choose to let that be the case for you, that's your business. But don't accuse me of being dense when you're the one who can't make an informed opinion for yourself.migo said:How dense are you? Metacritic posts nothing but facts - scores and links to reviews of other places. It says nothing by itself, it aggregates. It's obvious you do never pay attention to Metacritic though, otherwise you wouldn't be spewing bullshit like that.Sir John the Net Knight said:First and foremost, I NEVER pay attention to metacritic. Metacritic says a lot of shit that turns out to be pretty much dead wrong.
