GameTap doesn't provide pay2play services anymore. Planescape is lost!

Until recently GameTap.com provided pay2play services. This means that in exchange for a monthly fee you could play any game in their extensive library. One of the games they offered was Planescape: Torment, a game that is nowhere else to be found except for the rare and expensive eBay auction. I noticed today that GameTap.com doesn't provide this service anymore and only provides a selection of their old library as pay2download. Apart from the fact that GOG.com offers a whole lot more games at a lower price, Planescape is no longer in this list. The first link on a Google query for "play planescape torment online" is still the GameTap page, which now returns a 404.

Does anyone know which site still offers Planescape to be played online or that offers it for download? Registered users on GOG.com can vote [http://www.gog.com/en/wanted/] for Planescape to be added to their library, it is currently in second place!

NO! I've wanted to play Planescape for ages! This cannot be!

I'm actually considering registering for GOG just so I can vote for it. If it got added to their catalogue I would register just so I can play it. I need to play this game, people!

Yes, but in my experience, when you buy hard copies of games from the Windows 98 era, they're a nightmare to get running on modern PCs. Maybe I'm just unlucky/incompetent.

I can confirm that Planescape: Torment works quite well on Win XP, nothing beyond simple compatibility mode is needed.

Depends what you want to do with it; if you want spell VFX to work, you may have to turn some settings down, and if you don't get the fixes for hi-res and hi-res text, the resolution may annoy you.

Exactly. The good thing is that the game provided by GOG.com (Stonekeep, Fallout, Tex Murphy, ...) are tested on modern systems and are guaranteed to work. And they're much cheaper than the auction versions.
