Inspired by VanQ's Anime 3x3 [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.853235-Your-anime-3x3] thread, I bring to you a Gaming 3x3 thread! It's a creative take on the classic favourite games list, put your 9 favourite games in a 3x3 mosaic (in any order).

Overall though, I shall give you a 5/9.
Mass Effect 3 was fine, but I just cannot forgive the writing.
Last of Us, Kingdom Hearts, I have never played.
And Dark Souls was not my thing. Other than that ... good.

Dragon Age: Origins, Little Busters (My GAAAAWD something that ain't Clannad), Galaxy Angel.

I probably have more, but this is from the top of my head.
The last two are a little less ... popular, though they have their own great mechanics, especially the last one, it has a RTS like space battles.

@Drummodino I never played ME3 (the first game gives me motion sickness, so I've never been able to beat it) but I enjoyed everything else on your list! Katawa Shoujo wasn't really my thing, but I still basically liked it while I played it (only Emi's route). Also, I only played the PS2 versions of the Purseowner games, but, hey, they're basically the same thing, right?

@StormShaun Never played the VNs in there, but the rest is all good to me. Although it took me a long time to get into Fallout 3 because it kept crashing on me at first ¬.¬ And I couldn't help but think "BETRAYAL" having enjoyed the first two so much, but I got over that.

It was actually pretty hard to come up with this list and I'll probably kick myself for forgetting a favourite later on, but oh well! These came to mind first.

@Drummy: 6/9. I've never played any Persona games and Dark Souls and I don't get along too well.

@StormShaun: 4/6. Never played Persona or Galaxy Angels. Little Busters! is fantastic though.

@ScrabbitRabbit: Huh, didn't think I'd be giving someone a 0/9. The only game I've played from your list is Half Life, which I don't care for at all.

@Shaun: Haven't played your VNs and I found DA: Origins to be rather dull. I like the other three immensely though!

Also of course VNs count. They're great.

@Rabbit: Obviously I like P3 but I haven't played any of the others on your list. I do want to play some of the older SMT titles sometime but haven't gotten around to it.

@Elfy: 4/9 for Civ, ME3, TWD and Oblivion (oh shit, I forgot Skyrim >_<)

Like I said I'm not a big fan of Origins and I haven't played the others (gave up on AC after 3).

Oh nice, I was considering making another thread like this.

Here's my contribution. As a note, rather than rating people out of the 9, it might be better to rate them out of how many games you know. So if you only know 7, you rate it 6/7 if you liked 6 out of 7 games you know.
It's just a revision I thought of since my last thread had lots of 1/9s which looks worse than it really is.

@Drummodino: 7/9 because I didn't really like The Last of Us and Mass Effect 2 & 3.
@StormShaun: 4/6, I thought that Little Busters was boring even by Key standards and Dragon Age never appealed to me. In fact Bioware never appealed to me.
@ScrabbitRabbit: 4/4: The only games on your list I've played are Nocturne, Persona, Planescape and Half Life. All of which I thought were fantastic.
@Elfgore: 5/9: So did you actually finish Hoshizora no Memoria after all? I remember you dropped it and I told you to persist. Was I right or was I right?

Yeah, I did. I enjoyed it so much I'm replaying it. Mostly just to repeat the two blonde's routes again. They're just fantastic in every way.

I made a 3x3 of what I thought were my all time favorite games and realized all but 2 of them were PS2 games. So I removed those two games and went full-fledged PS2: My Favorite Games on That Console, and Apparently Of All Time As Well.

I ultimately had some difficulty in my choices, but went with some old classics.
Games in order are:
LoZ: Wind Waker / Portal 2 / Kingdom Hearts 2
Fallout 3 / PERSONA 4 (my favorite) / Conga Simulator 2 Team Fortress 2
Paper Mario TTYD / Any Super Smash Bros / Pokemon Diamond

I dunno, I tend to play a lot of games and it's pretty difficult for me to pick favorites after TF2 and Persona 4.

@Drummodino 1/9 Why is every square not Persona 4 I thought I liked you
@Johnny_Novgorod 6/9 because I've never played Silent Hill 2, Beyond Good & Evil, and whatever Dragon Quest that is. The rest are awesome PS2 games though.
@VanQ 3/9 because of Persona 4, TF2, and Morrowind you idolmaster garbage I liked Morrowind, what little I played of it anyway. Haven't played the rest >->

Anyway, everyone [in this thread] gets an 8 out of 10 in my book... (and yes, I do know what I mean when I say that...)

As for rating everyone else's? Jeez. You guys have shown me that I really need to get out more. To buy new games. And then stay in more and play them. Because I've just realized how many famous games I've heard of through nerd osmosis but never actually experienced. Yeah.

Glad to see all the love for Persona, though. And I picked up Planescape from GOG a while back, but I haven't gotten around to giving it a proper playthrough yet.
