Gaming Burnout

Gears of War 2 - I loved the multiplayer despite it's flaws and played it solidly for about 18 months until I finally tired of it.Never went back to it because about 6 months after I stopped playing it Gears 3 was released

The worst thing is that the burnout seems to have affected me with Gears 3 as well.Despite being a much smoother virtually lag free experience compared to it's predecessor I only played Gears 3 for about 6 weeks before tiring of it.The only times I've gone back to it since are when the DLC has been released which I had already paid for with the season pass and even then I've only played it for a day or two before giving up.Wish I'd known I was going to feel this way cos I wouldn't have wasted around ?30 on DLC I've barely used otherwise

That would be Guild Wars for me. I used to play it like mad during my university yeas and onto the expansions but I did get sick/ bored of it. It was after I got the internet back (I had one month of no internet) I had competely lost the will to play anymore of it. I had somewhat got back into it a year ago but not properly due to the reward scheme to the upcoming sequel Guild Wars 2.
