I had an idea for a crossover fighting game called Castlevania: Advent of the Darkstalkers that I haven't really seen topped yet in the realm of good crossover ideas.

Prototype and InFamous. Whoever wins in the battle, everyone else loses.

And Assassin's Creed and Age of Empires. Because I dunno why.

Honestly, and I know what people will say...Halo and Mass Effect.

I don't even care how it would happen in the story or even if it was at all sensical, I just want to see what it would actually be like to see a spartan burn through all of the enemies that Shepard actually has to have firefights with. Krogan Battlemaster trying to eat your Shepard's face?
Master Chief punches him so hard in the stomach that he shits out both of his livers.
Can't kill that Thresher Maw? Master Chief gets purposely eaten and sets off a plasma grenade inside of its head.
Reapers coming to destroy your home planet? We have all clearly seen Covenant battle cruisers larger than even the Harbinger class Reapers with enough firepower to reduce them to smoldering slag, and don't forget the MAC orbital rounds.

I'm saying that the alien armada and main characters in Halo would be able to slaughter most of the enemies Shepard and the other races deal with regularly. Especially the Elites.
Of course, know why? Because Halo take place in the same universe as Mass Effect as a result of a complete renegade play through. The Krogan died out, the mass relays were fried containing all species to thier home world and Shepard is John's Great-Great- Grandfather.

It's all true I swear.
Even if it was just a fanfic, I want to see someone do that. In most FF I see, Halo is always the prequel to Mass Effect, but I want to see if someone does one where Halo is actually is in the far future to ME.

I would like a good Halo Mass Effect crossover. Seeing the rich lore of the two different worlds clash would be awesome. We could get such awesome spectacles such as Brutes vs Krogan, Turians vs Elites and the Flood vs the Reapers, I would love it...or at least I would have but right now I don't want Halo anywhere near Mass Effect. Halo 4 actually looks pretty good and I don't want it to get contaminated with pretentiousness, "artistic integrity" and "lots and lots of speculation for everyone"
Since you already have done a fanfic, you should do one like the one listed above! Also:

"Master Chief goes into Reqiuem! Lots of speculation for everyone!" :D

When the MvC3 came out, after few months Capcom announced this:
Oh that, Personally, I don't mind it as I wasn't able to get the first game but I can understand how that would piss people off.
From what I heard, it was made so soon as Marvel was about to "Lock Down" on media production in the run up to the Avengers and it was the last chance for Capcom to use the characters or some other Licencing issue.
Or maybe they wanted more money and Capcom knowing how much "sheeps" are the fans, they would pay extra money to get the "real" game....

I am not saying to the publishers to not use this kind of practice cause honesty I love Expansion Packs for games like Quake 2 or Duke Nukem 3D, but only if they do it right....

Capcom released Ultimate MvC3, a game than is just an stand alone title without the use of the "fake one", fixing every kind of issues had in the preview game without do the exacly the same thing to the MvC3, aaaaannnddddddd..........other players must have also the new edition to play with you cause it is a "different game" than MvC3......F*CK YOU CAPCOM!!!!!

Capcom should had really wait more longer before make this d*ck move to the peoples that bought day-one the MvC3....

I am pissed and I don't even bought the game.....

Sorry, I only write good fanfics, or at least I try to. Besides, I'm very busy working on a Mass Effect Fallout crossover.

nothing special. just pokemon x animal crossing for the Nintendo LF (Life Force) the first video game system that literally hooks itself into your veins! That way as long as you keep yourself fed you'll NEVER EVER have to stop playing EVER . you would just have to accept that this thing will basically absorb your life.

Assasins creed X Mass Effect
Imagine a futuristic squad of assasins, would make an awesome sci-fi sneaking game. You only get a really slow reloading sniper rifle, a knife, and 2 squad mates.
You'd have to plan out every level, using your squadmates to take out 3 guys at the same time or to be a distraction while you flank the enemy from behind.
That would be nice if they did the stealth elements well. Along with planning out the assassinations as well.

Deus Ex + Fallout: New Vegas
The ultimate free-roaming cyber-western RPG
Now that would be awesome to see xD

My two cents though: Mass Effect X EVE Online
RPG Action Shooter + Massive fleet combat with your mates. Kinda in the same vein as EVE Online and Dust are planning to become.

Starcraft meets Gears of War.

Now I know what you're saying "hurrr durr Gears? What is this kid like 12? This is fer realz games" but listen.

Gears of War, despite being the go-to third person shooter for the "bro-gamer" demographic is actually really well made and a LOT more in depth than 90% of third person shooters out there. The combat is great, the guns are fun, the enemy variety is LEAGUES AHEAD of most games out there. I guess you could say Battlefront instead of Gears, but only for the scale, because Battlefront is very floaty in its combat.

Replace boring space marines with Terran and locust with Zerg and then add Protoss for good measure and BAM I just made the best thing ever. Also you would need vehicles, can't go without those. Throw in a map editor for replay value.

edit: not so much a crossover, just a crossover in genre. But still, Starcraft could do well in plenty of other genres, I really don't know why Blizz doesn't get on the potential they have.

assassins creed and ....[sub] don't hate me. i know it was bad but the concept was good[/sub] fort zombie. okay, i take the walking dead.

you have the climbing ability and movement of assassins creed but have to survive and gather food and resources (limited carrying capacity) in a abandonned city( well except the zombies)

and instead of fighting the most polite guardsmen in history you have to deal with hordes of slow moving zombies. killing them costs stamina so you dont run around being a commando.

you have to escort survivors through the city (some who cant use rooftops)
and sometimes the retarded tower defense game from relevations shows up and you have to protect your fort. but instead of just standing there you can move around and get down and fight the zombies off.

no special infected. the zomboes are just not that dumb (can use ladders, doors, windows but very slow and sloppy)

and you can rid the whole city of the undead. there is a insane huge number of killable zombies, but the number is limited. so if you kill 12 million zombies (includes potential zombies= survivors), you win the game by securing the city.

and you have a fishing and farming simulator so you can even win the game by having a secure and self efficient fort.
Oh HELLLL NO! The idea is good but the revelations tower defense? no! just NO!

come on!
outpost attacks by zombies can be fun...
yeah they could but not in an assassins creed themed game. That tower defense was terrible! maybe if it was more like Orcs Must Die then It would be good but not Revelations style

Many times I already said about my Wet-Dream Crossover, but I will say this again:

Grey Knights Army

VS

Shin Megami Tensei Demons
That would be a truly impressive conflict to bear witness too, until Hitoshura, the Embryon, or any of the other main protagonists take the field. Then sadly Not only is the emperium screwed, but so is the rest of the 40K universe.
What makes them so powerful? I find it hard to believe anything could take on everything in the 40K universe.
Well, if you think that in a normal Shin Megami Tensei can a hero have for an allie a GOD in the first levels and later to have even Satan to defeat a greater THREAT than that, then I believe the SMT demons are challenge for a WK army.
40K has its own gods. And they are no joke. I still don't see what makes them so powerful.
What makes Hitoshura, the Protagonist from SMT: Nocturne, a threat to the 40K cosmos? The fact that his nature has elevated him to a position on the cosmic food chain that defines him as a predator of deities, and leader of an army consisting of just about any and all creatures ever, Angels, Demons, Gods, You name it, he's probably been to a reality and recruited it or beat it down to cosmic dust and then resurrected it and drafted it into his army. He killed the concept and embodiment of Multiversal reincarnation because he could.

The Embryon, the main protagonists from the DDS duo of games, aren't on the same level, but can each become gods unto themselves in terms of power. While they wouldn't pose a threat to the gods of the 40K setting like Hito would, they could each singlehandedly floor the mortal armies, as well as Demon and Daemon armies of 40k universe, not to mention the 'Boss' Creatures that required them to work together after having achieved these levels of power to defeat.

Please don't misunderstand, I'm well aware of how potent the beings of the 40k Setting are. But looking at the two realities, at peak conditions, and then viewed objectively, I have to tip my hand towards Hito and the Embryon, The Other Protagonists of the SMT series I have little first hand experience with however, and can only vouche for their power letting them hold their own against far more than something from the 40k world would allow in a 1 vs Many scenario. Again, at peak of their power. Anything less and they would be floored.

Capcom Vs Nintendo.
Greatest Fighting Game EAVR, I dare you to defy me!
I defy you.
Capcom is so overated if it is for fighting games.
Truth to be told, Capcom create very good games of this kind, but not perfect.
Also if you think the fact Capcom all the time will butt-f*ck his fans with ridiculous DLC, make his recent Fighting games less appealing to me.
And of course the whole Marvel Vs Capcom 3 fiasco...

Now........Marvel Vs Nintendo on the other hand....
Thing is, Would Nintendo allow DLC for such a famous game? They aren't known for DLC and I'm sure they can keep Capcom in check, besides after SFxT, I don't think DLC would be an issue.

As for Quality, The Vs. Series are some of the best Fighting Games out there, sure not Perfect, but what FG is?

On the topic of Overated, Perhaps, but they DID invent Fighting Games.

And What MVC3 Fiasco?
When the MvC3 came out, after few months Capcom announced this:

You may want to note that Capcom origionally didn't intend for that at all. Shortly after MvC3 came out that Disaster hit japan, and Capcom halted it's DLC plans for MvC3

I did the math though before I decided to get it. I checked the DLC prices of Jill and Shumagorath, counted how many new characters I was getting, along with a further refined combat system? I spent less money buying MVC3 ultimate than I would've if they had released all the DLC characters as Actual DLC. Instead they bundled it all up at a discount to what they could make for quick money to try and build up releif funds. They're now making their profit off of skin/Costume DLC instead of Character DLC as far as that game is concerned.
