It has been awhile since I felt that old feeling of euphoric fun from playing a game. That being said I came pretty close to that old feeling when I was playing Borderlands recently. I was playing a hunter, and I was doing some quest where I had to collect some weeds. So I was going through killing skags, collecting weeds. I went into this cave and I killed a few more skags. Then suddenly out of nowhere this huge skag appeared like 50 feet away from me, and I didn't think too much of it. That is until it cleared that space in a single quick jump and decimated my shield. Suddenly I was fighting this thing with next to nothing for health. Side stepping it, jumping whenever it did its shockwave thing. Close quarters combat the entire battle, my heart was racing. We were toe to toe, battling it out epically. It was at some point during this battle that I noticed that I was enjoying myself. So much so that when I finally took that skag down,I was stoked! So yeah, it surely was an experience. I have yet to experience it again. Even afterward when I fought the biggest skag around(from what I've seen), which is Skagzilla.
