Gaming Induced Vertigo

So, recently I was prescribed Nuvigil (Armodofanil) for ADHD. I started taking it the first day of our family vacation two weeks ago. Because of this, I was unable to play any video games other than the Pokémon White that I brought with me.

Over the course of the vacation, I noticed that I was more alert during the day than I have ever been in my lifetime. Though, at times, while walking and not training my eyes on something, I did notice that I got a bit dizzy.

Anyway, I am home now and wanted to get back to playing the games that I was unable to play while on vacation. I booted up WoW for the first time in two weeks, patched, and waited out Tuesday maintenance with excitement. When I finally was able to get in the game, I noticed that, as I started moving around in the game, my head began to hurt. I felt slightly lightheaded and dizzy. This went on until I stopped moving.

I've noticed this in a few other games, though, Pokémon seems to be the only one where I don't feel this sense of vertigo.

I don't want to stop playing games, but I don't believe that that is a very good reason to stop taking this medicine either. Has anyone ever experienced such a thing? And what did you do to help it?

Any other suggestions are appreciated.

(If this needs to be moved to off-topic, do so. I felt it was gaming related enough, but I may have been wrong.)

Maybe you get simulation sickness from taking your prescription thingy? I don't really know though.

I mean, that's what I'm thinking. But I really haven't been taking it long enough to be able to say so or not.

The fact that I was getting kind of dizzy while walking outside kind of scares me.

I see my doctor Friday morning so she can check up on how it is reacting with me. I'm definitely letting her know about this all.

I'm hoping that it's simply just something that taking a supplement might fix. My doctor did say that I was low on vitamin D, and that might cause some weird things with the meds. I'll be starting to take vitamin D tomorrow, so hopefully that will do something.
