older games here.
I love to play both old and new games.
Being older also means i have alot more cash to shell out.
So instead of having 1 console i own all 3 and not limited to X amount of games a month.
Bad part is, you buy so many games you dont have time for ....
I swear i've played like 1/10 of my games for any system Oo

Who said gaming way dieing?

Anyway games are a hobby just like anything else and hobbies shift in different parts of your life, they come and go as we move along.

getting older sucks.

Because I was riding freestyle BMX from fairly early on, i'm now developing arthritis already, and i'm only 22. So now my reason for not gaming as much as i used to is not only thanks to lack of time, but also because my fingers and thumbs get stiff, and i can't sit still in a chair for more than a couple of hours like i used to, because i cramp up. I hate getting older.
Only 22?! Geez, I'm the same age. Suddenly, I'm very glad I wasn't into those kinds of activities and that gaming managed to hook me in before I turned 7.

OT: It does seem to make sense that we lose interest as we get older and have less free time (or finger mobility in certain cases). I'm already mourning my future loss of free time once I get a job (if anyone will hire me considering my tendency to fall ill and be hospitalized). On the upside, it will mean more cash for games. Once certain vital things are paid for of course.

I slowly started losing interest in heavy video game playing when I started making them.

Once you understand how it all works, it kind of spoils the magic of it.

I still love playing games though, just not as much as I used to as a kid.
You make games?!!!1!!1
*gasp!*
He has a point. Making games can ruin your feelings towards it.

Every time I see a game working now though, i'm amazed. How the hell do they, but wouldn't that conflic- OMG HOW! Is how I play now though.

yep. i do love riding though and despite not being as fresh as i used to be i'm still out most weekends sending myself through the torment of flips and spins and stalls, i always will. gaming is what i got in to when i broke my ankle the first time, and it was supposed to just be a pass-time, but now i have every PS system, an n64, a DS and a 360. And that's another thing, programming really does suck out the fun of gaming, but thankfully i never stuck to the game making side of things haha. if you ever have the bright idea of solving your lack of free time problem by making gaming your job, don't.
