I say get a program like Parallels or some other program that allows you to run windows on your Mac then run the games from there.

Oh yeah, and Telltale Games' stuff. Point and click comedy adventures. Tales of Monkey Island and Sam & Max: Devil's Playhouse has been Mac'd already, with the rest of the serieses to follow. They're mint (except perhaps Wallace & Gromit).

I know it's old (like 5 years) but it's still entertaining

but near any game for the pc is available for the mac. If you don't have a console Prototype is a very good pick up that i know is on the PC... or you could just install windows on your mac and have that as your "gaming" part and mac as your... everything else

I would also like to add Homeworld 2,Bioshock,Dragon Age,Neverwinter Nights (either of them),Prey and Quake 4 to the list.
Are all of these on the mac, or do I need bootcamp etc?

Bungie makes all the best games for Mac, like Marathon, Myth, and the awesome upcoming game HALO
Excluding the few games that come as Mac/PC games on release (Blizzard games, the Sims and a few others) most of the Mac versions of games are pretty expensive compared to their PC counterparts. It's probably cheapest to spring for an OEM copy of Windows [http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10011180] and run bootcamp if you plan to buy more than a couple games for your Mac.

That, or wait 'til Valve finishes porting Source and Steam.
