What drives you f@#king nuts when you play a game?

I would have to say the thing that pisses me off the most is when someone can't think of a good username, so they just pick a random adjective-noun combination. Sometimes the combinations are so inconsequential, it makes me want to puke, like "Confused Hamster" or "Pointless Beaver".

When people call me stupid, a fag, any other homophobic insult, or any insult in general, because I like a game.

Oh, you must hate my user name then.

On topic: I just dislike glitching for advantage in all its forms. Hell, I can deal with cheating as its easy to detect, and can be reported easily, but glitching takes a long time to fix, and is just a pain in the ass.

Landmines.

Even more so when they are almost impossible to notice and they instantly kill you.

Actually, yours has a nice ring to it. It's just absurd ones like I mentioned in the OP that I really hate.

Well, since this thread seems to be about multiplayer games, what I hate about those is ridiculously overpowered, hard-to-master kill techniques like shock combos in UT and grenade+gravity gun in HL2:DM.

When you're automatically kicked from your Live party. It seems to happen a lot to me and my friends in Nebraska. Either someone from Microsoft has a grudge, or cornstalks don't work very well as ethernet cables.

OT: I have a funny story about that. One night, it was an exceptionally bad night for that. We got the party back together and I said "If I get auto-kicked again, I'm mailing myself to Bill Gates, and when he opens it up, I'm gonna jump out and kick him in the balls." At the moment I finished my sentence, I was auto-kicked. I joined back and said "Anybody got a stamp?"

"dammit fido ... why won't you fetch the ball when I toss it over this cliff!?" -Fable 2-

"Nobody seems to care that Lucien shot my sister and I but I give my wife a punch in the eye and their entire town guard is after me!?" -Fable 2 ... again-

I personally just growl. It gets the aggression across. I think it's pretty hard to miss. That or someone assumes that my dog attacked me and is now showing his dominance by wearing my headphones.

My gaming pet peeve is ganking, in any shape or form. That, and kill-stealing. Pretty much anything that makes me say to myself, "Well, that was a waste of effort".

Funny thing is, I don't notice when people TB me (I'm just not watching that closely.) It really pisses me off when people on my team do it, though. I've started putting single bullets in the asses of teammates who teabag.
