Hmmm... what do you think Mr. Jackson?

Wow that's pretty harsh. What about you Mr. Collins?

OT: While the execution lacked finesse or civility, he had it coming. Thank God no one got hurt, just shaken.

For one, you made quite a leap from video games to bars. For two, those are two different situations. The video doesn't show anything keeping the girl in that game. There was no reason for her to stay since there are quite a few other Halo games going on that she easily could have played in.
It's the same principle. Someone should not have to leave ANY public space, gaming lobbies included, due to being harrassed by an asshole and it is not someone's fault if it happens them.

If it happened to her on Reach she'd have been punished for rage quitting. Where does that leave her?

If i knew that girl i would have done something much worse. He isn't funny. He wouldn't even be considered a shock comic. What he does is blatant sexual harassment and if anyone thinks he should be protected by "Freedom Of speech" then you are an idiot. He deserves to be taught respect and manners. I am old fashioned and if i ever met him i would break his jaw so it would be wired shut for 6 months and he wouldn't be able to say shit to anyone.
I'd be inclined to agree.

I can't believe some people on this thread are trying to say it was the girl's fault. Makes me sick.

While I think a SWAT team is a bit extreme and it put his innocent family in danger, I still think the guy is the worst kind of person.

Seriously? This is NOT just a harmless prank. A harmless prank would be having a conversation but every third sentence speak in a foreign language for absolutely no reason. A harmless prank is pretending to be a celebrity, or leaving silly things lying around someone's house. Or pretending to have stolen their valuables when really you've just put them in different locations.

Publicly sexually harassing a young woman and then making it into a video and streaming it live so others can do it at the same time and forcing her to have to change her gamertag and feel repulsed and possibly disturbed is NOT a prank. In fact, now that this girl might know who he is, I'm hoping he'll be sued and lose the rights to Xbox Live.

Honestly, it's people like him that make me realize that our societies treatment of women still has a looong way to go before it gets any better.

If this was one of the "best videos that they've made in the last year", I really don't want to know what the less good ones are like.

(and not leaving doesn't count. Absence of common sense doesn't equal absence of innocence)
That's brilliant. Must remember to use that at some point, and in any case you're right.
Sure she lacked common sense when it came to dealing with this situation, it doesn't suddenly mean that she deserved to be sexually harassed like that.

Yes it's true, she should have just muted him and moved on, but that doesn't mean what he's doing is any less despicable or lowly. Considering she just wanted to play the game, she deserves the right to do so without having to worry about torment.

Just because she didn't handle it better than she could have, doesn't make what happened to her any less awful.
