I hope the day is not far away that people will be held responsible for their behavior online. What this guy does is illegal (they just need to clean up some technicalities in how the laws are written), and the only reason he gets away with it is because he's on the internet. If I was a judge, this youtube video (and perhaps some ISP and account records) are more than enough for me to convict this guy of sexual assault and harassment. Yeah, the SWAT prank wasn't exactly the best way to get back at this guy; I would have preferred to see a few Molotov's tossed through his window.

a while ago i met a group of girls on black ops they kicked our asses before the game everyone on my team was joking about how they could beat them with their eyes closed we lost badly they didnt joke after that

another time was in red dead redemption i met a nice girl that was amazed i didnt stalk her around the map and spawn kill her

Despite the unfortunate waste of time SWAT had to go through because of a prank, i have seen Keemstar's prank videos, some of them are funny, and this news story is pretty damn funny too.

Maybe I'm just old and behind the times but there is no way in hell speaking to a woman like that would be acceptable in my peer group unless she was in on the joke and not upset by it, which this girl clearly is. It's bullying, it sucks and I don't like it.

Saw the news report and thought 'that seems a bit much'

Then I saw what they lead up to as saying it 'one of their best videos' is nothing but him harassing some girl who jumped online to play some games... now all I can think is 'what a god damn idiot'.

He is EXACTLY what is wrong with gaming. It's not 'funny' to be a dick and ruin other peoples enjoyment of their games - and no I don't care that she could have muted him - that's like saying harassment is fine in real life because you can just ignore them.

People like him are the reason I play with voice disabled in all games these days.

When exactly did gaming become about causing as much grief as possible to other gamers? Where do people get this perverse enjoyment from where they think it's funny to upset other people and ruin their day? It's pathetic.

He says that someone has 'taken things to the next level'.. no they haven't, they've just done what he does to people every day - upset him and caused him grief. But naturally because it happened to HIM it's not OK. These idiots need to remember that when you aren't playing the game just to be an arsehole to others, these things aren't fun at all.

The only thing I don't agree with is using the police to give him a dose of his own medicine, thus preventing those officers from helping others who may have needed it.
