Found this in my Twitter feed, thought it'd be great to share and get more people spreading this around.

http://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/1xrcsw/the_truth_about_psl_vs_vpp_proof_of_fragready/

The story goes like this:
CS:GO clan PsL(Potsmokers Lounge) was accused of being behind attacks against the clan VPP(Very Poor People) by their owner who goes by the tag whosurdaddy on Reddit. Meanwhile during all this, PsL has been under pretty much constant attacks for their game servers, website, voice chat, etc. Detective work, as well as evidence brought to light by an ex-employee, found that they were under attack by VPP's sponsor/server provider FragReady along with them attacking both other gaming communities as well as other providers in order to eliminate competition. This included attacking the ex-employee as well.

Anyone who either is part of a clan involved with FragReady or knows people who are, I urge you to look into new options. Gamers already have a reputation of being immature, it shouldn't extend into gaming-related business either. Please read the full story, including a nice Google document with the evidence brought forth by the ex-employee, and spread this around.

EDIT: Since I'm sure not everyone will go to the Reddit thread, here's a link to the evidence that's been gathered. https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1x5xU2uo376NQKIGth94co5T8R215k1xH3_7eTpS6IG4/edit#slide=id.p
Tucker Preston, the person talking about all the attacks, is their Director of Operations btw.

I highly doubt this was sanctioned by any company head, because people might think this DDoS thing is all fun and games but if anyone can put forth legitimate evidence to your involvment it means jail time and seizing of property for a business like this.

Since they rent out servers it is a far more likely scenario that some disgruntled player was using their servers to set up the attacks, little does he know that if the police comes calling the server log will quickly have him figured out.

Normally I would be inclined to agree. The evidence collected shows it was being done by their current Director of Operations though(a man by the name of Tucker Preston), and the conversations collected show that at the very least that other employees were at least aware of it if not actively participating. Not sure if the company owner knows, but the conversations show that Tucker at least knows what he's doing is illegal.

Since I'm sure not everyone will go to the Reddit thread, I'll add a link to the evidence document in the OP.

Hello,

Thought I would add onto this thread, and update the community.

My name is Marcus, I am the current Managing Director, and was the director from the opening of the company in October of 2012 through this past December, where my employment with FragReady ceased.

I do not want to go into much detail in regards to this, but I will add that I was the "disgruntled" ex-employee that provided chat logs to prove that two staff members of FragReady were ddosing other communities, along with a community that we sponsored at the time (ClanVPP).

As of this month, I was rehired, and the two employees that have been in question are no longer with FragReady. FragReady has also terminated the sponsorship of ClanVPP.

We have hired additional and more professional staff to help cover our bases.

I would like to thank the community for coming together and condoning the actions of FragReady's staff during that time. No one, and I mean no one, should endorse illegal activities such as DDoSing, and other things that are all well to known to this community. Be assured that FragReady does not endorse, or tolerate this activity. Any clients that are caught doing this, are removed from our network immediately, and are reported to the necessary channels.

I will say that between the time I was gone, and the person who has been accused of doing these activities was in charge, the business took a big loss. However, we're starting to improve day by day, and we appreciate the support of those who have stuck with us, and have come back to give our company another shot.

I would be more than willing to speak to anyone, and I mean anyone in regards to this situation, whether by email, phone, or team speak. Please email me directly to schedule further correspondence Marcus@FragReady.com

Thanks again,

Marcus
