Gaming situations where you survived by luck

Have any of you ever played a level or fought a boss in a game any only made it out by dumb luck.

My experience is when I was playing the final boss of a gundam game for ps2 (can't remember the name) it was a run around shooter type game. I only had 1 hp and 1 shot and I had no idea how much hp the boss had left. so I took a long distance shot and somehow hit him and killed him.

Most levels in monkey ball usually degenerated into me hurling myself at the vague direction of the finish line, and getting there much more often than actually trying. That game was frustrating...

The time me (a Scout) and a Medic managed to beat 5 enemies in arena, luckily the Medic had a full Kritzirig on, so that helped, although he did die pretty quickly, funny enough after i beat them, there was a whole lot of "FUCK YOU KEMPER" going on in the chat.

Pretty much every experience online, as I have no idea where enemies are and stuff.

Oh, and pokémon, when I was younger. Managed to get through the last league person with only two pokémon, one of them pretty much 1 hit kill.

playing San Andreas, I was defending my turf from the Ballas (enemy gang) when I only had 1 HP left. I was so screwed that I was going to just give up, but while shooting a car in the distance by accident it made them drive faster and run over the last Balla, killing him. I couldn't believe my luck haha.

Probably Fallout 3

Barely any health, weapons on the verge of breaking (Didn't know that you could repair things with other things at the time) and had about 2 stimpaks, against two super mutants (A brute with a rocket launcher and a Master weilding a minigun). The Rocket guy shot a car and blew himself and the Master up, saving my hide.

Something similar happened to me. FFX is full of bosses who make stupid moves in your favour, even though you will lose with the simpelest thing.

I survived this boss who's sword attack is a full room AOE and I survived barely to use my special attack which ended the battle. How I survived was basically the AI for my teammate somehow compelled him to move in front of me as the attack was coming and he took the blunt of the damage and died while I killed the boss haha.

luck saves me pretty much every time i go online
most recent example BC:BF2 demo, me and my friend (both snipers) were on the attacking team, we only had 2 lives left for the whole team, we planted the charge and held off 6 guys with only our pistols, those who play battlefield know how hard that is. pure luck plus some garbage skilled guys on the other team

Playing team deathmatch (deathmatch gets spell-checked?) on GTA IV. Standing in an alley shooting at a car headed straight at me full speed, my gun runs out of bullets. Just before he pins me to the wall, my thumb twitches and accidentally hits the jump button. My character jumps straight up, my enemy in the car smashes into the wall and stops. I land on the hood of the car, reload and shoot him in his face, which is right between my feet. I laughed for days, and wished I could have recorded it.

Probably some of the bosses in games like Dark Cloud. Jesus christ, even analysing attack patterns only makes things a little easier. Dran...good God that was a nightmare. Was just about to die, Dran spat fire at me, my over-sensitive controller brought up the character-swap menu and due to my mashing X, managed to defeat him.

So many times to list though...

In Mass Effect2 when I was in the collector ship and I got ambushed everyone in my squad died but then I got clipped into the cover I was standing in front of and all the enemies were just walking back and forth continuously without attacking while I picked off there nuts with my assault rifle...

I wanna say your talking about gundam journey to jaburo in which case same here.

Also the three headed dog in devil may 3, my first expierence with a devil may cry game and the dog had whipped my ass twice but i finally got him. By one sword swing.

i remember at one point in Bioshock 2 where i was only 1 hit away from dieing, low ammo on everything, no health kits, and a spider splicer showed up. plus, i wasn't looking in the direction he was coming, so the only way i survived that was because i had earlier zapped some water nearby with electro bolt 2, i thought the electricity would have dissipated by then, but it didn't, and he happened to walk right into the water. sheer dumb luck right there.

On cod4, managed to kill off the entire enemy team by myself in 30 seconds,
8v8 match
on crossfire, killed a guy running across the street, 7 left
2 enemies behind a wall, 5 left
1 guy I knifed who was running down the stairs 2 help his mates I just killed, 4 left
1 guy killed by my claymore, 3 left
3 enemy snipers in the room at the top of the stairs I ran up, I kid you not.
rpd made short work of them

ALOT of swearing and wtf's directed at me after that. random luck ,awesome killstreak.
