Pringles and squid rings. its awesome. Beer can also help. If you are going for a very long session, you need energy drinks, lots of enery drinks.

I'm very envious, I love calamari, so your mum's snack sounds incredible.

I drink whatever I'm addicted to at that moment. A while ago I was addicted to ACE drink, and now it's all about Spa&Fruit Apple (lovingly called Spapple by me). If I eat at all when gaming (I usually save it for when I'm done, but sometimes.. you're never done @_@) it's usually a sammich. I'm not a big fan of salty snacks because my fingers get all fatty and grease up the controller/keyboard/mouse.

I was merely making reference to the preference of your avatar.
And I was quoting Futurama. I changed a word though.

Ramen. Lots of it. Beverages include Mountain Dew and Strawberry Soda.
Dude, its bad enough video games rot the brain, you shouldn't be eating Ramen. It rots your inards too. Ramen is too high in sodium, and how do you eat Ramen and play games at the same time.
I stick to Almonds and cold drinks. Something non sticky works best for me.
Yo. Four arms.

But really, I don't eat WHILE I'm playing. I'll PAUSE the game, set down the controller, and take a few bites, then continue playing. Yeah, it's high in sodium, but so is half the stuff everyone else is naming.

A friend and I were just talking about this last night actually. When we were little we adored our N64, but like most people know, the games were harder than they are now. Well when you factor in our age, we had quite a bit of trouble. Our lucky snack was apples, neither of us liked them too much, but every time we got stuck on Donkey Kong 64 and ate an apple we won the next try we took. I carried the habit over to today and it still works... I wonder if it's all in my head or if there is a science behind it.

Crazy bread from the local pizzeria! No greasy controls, because you can just pop it in your mouth a chomp it down. :D

On a good day, I usually have a good supply of Dr. Pepper at my disposal and maybe some Pringles, Funyuns, BBQ chips or whatever I can find. The only bad part about that is a greasy keyboard and mouse... Oh, this reminds me. I should get a pound of Swedish Fish or something to keep close by. I'd take those over anything else.

Ehh I've read and seen a lot of unhealthy fatty foods sweets and sodas through this thread...
It's not good for your health I'm serious : <

Playing games through the night makes it even even worse. But whatever I enjoy it as well on Sleep-overs.

I'm pretty surprised no-one's mentioned "a nice cold glass of water", with lots drunk it decreases your appetite, makes you full, doesn't make you hungry for a while. No Calories + sugar etc.etc.

Sunflower seeds are ftw. Carrots, Almonds, Peanuts (not salted), even a salad omg tastes even better at night.

I'm not a health crazed person its just my parents made me eat vegetables and fruits when I was a child. So I'm used to it. I even like it actually, and so the habit will stay with me for the rest of my life.

I haven't thanked them enough...

Either ramen or Cheez-Its. Ramen because it's freaking delicious, and Cheez-Its because they're also delicious, but don't get all over your hands.

Meh, I usually don't eat junk food like that, the stuff gets semeared onto the controller/keyboard. Gah.

I almost always have a drink near by though, ranging from Mountain Dew to probably Arizona tea. That Mountain Dew stuff though, that shit will rot your brain!
