"
The expansion will offer tons of new quests" - We will let you do even more "kill X mobs" tasks to reach the final level!
(I quote from the Battleforge page

"
You can create your own, individual strategy for every single battle" - There will be two types of gameplay (PvP and PvPC) and approximatly three or four strategies will be so effective all other ones are completely obsolete.
(I quote from the Age of Conan site

"
Age of Conan's features include: An advanced combat system lets you choose every cut, thrust, and swing in real time." - We have tried to implement real-time combat into a MMORPG to make it less boring but it is extremely glitchy and will bug a lot, primarily due to lag.
(And again

"
An unprecedented character development and customization system with combo attacks, skills, special abilities, and deadly spells ensures no two characters are exactly the same." - Yet every class will have one set of attacks, skills, special abilities and deadly spells that is most effective and you will thus be required to make your character as generic as every other player of your profession.
(And again

"
New and exotic classes, such as the Demonologist, Herald of Xotli, and Dark Templar, along with incredible twists on classics like the Ranger and Assassin. - Except that half of these classes are severely underpowered because having to balance twelve classes sucks so you'll still have to play one of the four classes everybody else plays if you want to be effective.
(And from the Warhammer Online site

"
Realm vs. Realm (RvR) gameplay means you will never fight alone, but as part of an army of allied players sworn to defend your homeland and conquer enemy Realms." - Unless, of course, if you happen to play on one of the severely underpopulated realms where you can go days without meeting any players of your level at all.
(Anno 1404...) "
Exclusive multiplayer modes across platforms
-Build your civilization and make history along with a friend in the 2-player co-op mode for Wii
-Integration with Ubi.com allows PC players to track achievements, climb leaderboards and challenge others online" - The PC version of the game will NOT have an actual multiplayer mode, just a lame system to share screenshots and savegames with friends >=(
This thread is sheer bliss, I could go on forever! As a little disclaimer though, don't take all of my 'translations' too seriously - I dislike none of the games I've quoted and I realize that in some cases my translation is a bit off from reality. Be that as it may however, I found that a lot of games I personally find really good or plain awesome actually seem to have delivered exactly what their features claimed they would. Make of that what you will.
