"Ah... I am aware I am not the expert, but is Lucario not your superior? Surely he should be the one to lead you?" Lorenzo asked. "Or us, rather? I am unsure as to whether I shall be permitted to join your ranks, but for now, at least, fate has flung us together. I am pleased to make your acquaintances." Lorenzo stopped for a moment and held his hand out to his new temporary allies.

"Do that again and I'll Freeze your mouth shut." Muttered Larry, who had decided to Hop up on Zee's back, not really wanting to fly in a cave. Waving his Wing at Lorenzo, Larry said "I'm sure you shall be a welcome addition to the team."

"Yeah..." Izumi agreed with Lucario, "Something must've changed him... like... a fallen angel who rose like a demon*..."

*An obvious, breaking 4th wall reference that Fallen Angel is the one who changed Umbreon... and for new people, this ain't in spoiler box because I reference lots of things and it's a hassle

He wiped his eyes.
'Look, there's the end.'
Oak stepped out the cave, they were at a beach. It was raining slightly, there was a sense of sadness in the air.
Something about this place is familiar...

"Aha... You make this creature sound like a traitor to it's home... an angel betraying heaven, almost..." Lorenzo muttered. "So, was he kind, this Umbreon? A friend of yours?"

"So new guy, welcome to team Aura, we are as dysfunctional as they come but it works." he said hoping to lift the oppressive mood, he failded

Spreding his Wings, Larry Took to the sky, though not that high above everyone else, so as to still talk with them.

They continued walking on until they came to a cliff.
'This is my place of research, the pokemon let me go here. They use it to honor a group of pokemon who died to protect them thirty-two years ago.'
Lucario was certain now.
'Thi-Thirty-two years? Thi-this is the guild base!'

"Thank you, sir. I hope to be with you all for a long while, at least. It pleases me to be so kindly received. I hope to enjoy working with you all." Lorenzo stopped at the mouth of the cave and bowed to his new allies. With that he continued out onto the beach, spreading his arms to absorb as much of the rain as he could through his skin. "Aaaah, that is refreshing. I feels good to be above ground, and feel the sun's rays again."

Lorenzo turned to look at the guild's falling-apart base of operations. "I say. That is... much less grand than I may have imagined."

"But, and, it, THIRTY TWO YEARS? What in the high holy hell, The base, in ruins." said the flabbergasted Steve

He cried hard.
'Please, it can't be!'

"Meh," Izumi shrugged, "I'm just glad I wasn't the one who did it.*"

*Izumi has broken 2 windows, the gym, 3 walls, and if I recall correctly, a part of the town.

Zee was folowing the group the entire time, his mind was still reeling from what happened, he just wanted to get back to the guild and rest, then he saw the ruins, and then he heard the story. "Thirty-two... thirty two" Zee couldnt understand it, he simply couldnt. "But, we were just here, we couldnt have been at the tower for more than a few hours. You mean we were locked in that stone for that long? What happened to everyone?"

Lorenzo turned away, his eyes closed. He wasn't good at coping with emotions. He spat his chewed blade of grass out onto the ground, reached into his box and pulled out another, which he placed between his lips.

"32 years?" Izumi wondered, "I need to find Xatu; I need to catch up on my soaps."

Lucario stood up and dropped the pokemon he was carrying he was crying hard.
'FUCKING MEH?!?!? THAT'S ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY?! GARDEVOIR IS DEAD!!! SHE WAS LIKE A SISTER TO ME AND ALL YOU HAVE TO SAY IS MEH?!'
