"Also Isaac...Good job at the song. Didn't think you would be able to sing, or at least not that great."

"Well thank you." Isaac replied with a nod. "It helps that German is one of the languages I speak fluently."

"I... I guess I could head up."

That surprised Isaac, almost as much as the giggle that followed it. By the Prophet. All's it takes is to get her absolutely hammered for her start acting like a normal person...there's hope yet. As surprised as he was, he was still caught off guard when she actually started singing. "Who would'a thought..."

Unlike Rose, who was plowing through beers like there was no tomorrow, Jarrah chose to pace himself, at least for the moment. While technically he had so far consumed a higher amount of alcohol than anyone else in the group, his size and experience from countless weekends spent on pub crawls with his mate Tim back in Sydney meant that he was among the least inebriated in the bar, not that he didn't have a nice buzz going at the moment.

"Who would'a thought..."

"Yep, next thing you'll know Jacky boy here'll be up on stage belting out a power ballad." He said as he clapped Jack on the shoulder and downed another glass. "Right then," Jarrah starts, slamming his glass onto the tabletop, "You wanna head up next Tomas, or do you wanna cop my shithouse singing first?"

Sierra idlely browsed the songs, after all this was her idea, she should be willing to humiliate her self by attempting to sing. She didn't see anything that said 'I'm worth making an ass of my self for', till she saw one near the end of the pale girls set. Sierra snickered to her self and elbowed Ohka "Watch this" she said before moving up to the stage to wait for her turn.


Once the girl finished Sierra climbed on stage and got the song selected and the music started, only Sierra had a diffrent [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N9qYF9DZPdw] idea for the lyrics, which where rather clearly displayed in front of her, and she went all in on the performance to, re-enacting some of the dance moves from the video as, she basically made to totally fool of her self on stage, and when the song was over, she ended it the exact same way as the video.

The German singing guy got off, receiving some applause as he did, to which Mirabelle decided to join in. Still, the song he chose was distinctly neither Japanese nor English, making her wonder if there was anything in spanish on the machine. It was a thing to look up later, certainly.

After the guy got off the stage, it seemed to be immediatly filled again as a girl came up and began singing. Mirabelle looked up as she did so, momentarily stopping, impressed at the girls singing ability. This increased once she realized that the girl was drunk yet still able to sing that well.

As she finished, her interest began to wane and she began to look for her friends. Alicia had apparently seated herself somewhere and Ohka had gone off to the bar. She had even been able to spot what she thought was Jarrah, though she couldn't fully tell in this light...but no Sierra, something that she found odd. She couldn't really locate Birres either...oh god. While pondering if Birres even had the ability to take Sierra out, much less beat her, she didn't notice said friend take the stage...until she started singing that is.

Spinning on her heels, Mirabelle spun around...and proceeded to accidentally knock a guy off of his feet with her arm. After apologizing near endlessly and helping him up, she turned her attention back to Sierra, wondering what posessed her to sing. She also wasn't expecting her to do a dance, one that went with th song she guessed. Still, it was funny in a sort of way, and when the song ended, she clapped, momentarily losing herself and not caring if anyone else did so or not.

Tomas watch as Rose went up on stage while she was a bit buzz. Wondering what depressing song she would sing, until she actually started to sang. It being more upbeat then he at first thought as he heard Isaac little comment along with Jarrah. "I'll head up if no one gets their first."

Tomas replied as he waited for his turn. Getting his drink in the meanwhile as he tasted it at first, before drinking it down some. Smiling lightly as he enjoyed a good Fireball, which tasted just like the candy. As the song came to a close Tomas was about to get up and head down but he saw someone else beat him to it and started to sing White and Nerdy. Groaning lightly as he remembers how much of a fan of Weird Al his mother was.

Seeing the song about to come to a close Tomas got up and headed towards the stage. "I shall return shortly." He said while leaving. Getting on the stage after the woman finish her song as he prepare for his own. As Sierra climb down off the stage, some one else climbed up and started singing 'Sail Away', as she made her way back to the bar and ordered a double shot of Crown Royal and sat down as she listened to the guy currently on stage.

Alicia

To say she was a light weight when it came to alcohol was a massive understatement; her friends back home used to joke that Alicia could get drunk by sniffing a wine cork. After she'd finished her beer, which she wasn't all that enamoured with, she switched to something called a peach flavoured drink called Momoshu.

The beer was starting to kick in as Sierra went up on stage, causing Alicia giggle endlessly at the half-daemon's performance; in her mind's eye, she saw Sierra without her 'glamour', and it seemed so wrong that it was hilarious. It's so...so outta...she's so serious a bunch of the time...

By the time she'd finished her first peach drink, Tomas had taken the stage. "I...I know dat guy...bit of a prick that one...too angry..." She muttered to no-one in particular. As he was finishing up, she suddenly pushed herself to her feet. "Fuck it...if-if they cun doo it, I'mma do it..." Weaving her way up, she made it on stage without too much trouble, though it took her a bit longer than most to actually find the song she wanted; the alcohol was really starting to take hold.

Sitting in the booth, with a nice buzz starting, he smiled lazily. This was a good idea. He thought. He laughed along with the audience when a rather stacked chick, the he'd seen around the school, broke into Weird Al of all things. "Insha'Allah...Now there is a couple of peaks I wouldn't mind summiting."

"I shall return shortly."

"Knock'em dead!" He called out as Tomas took the stage. Now if he'd just lighten up a bit in his day-to-day, it'd be perfect.

Jarrah didn't know whether it was a good or a bad sign that almost as soon as Tomas finished up a girl (who he could swear he'd seen around school) got on and launched into her own song. Still in his opinion Tomas didn't do half bad, infact he did a damn sight better than half bad. Jarrah lurched to his feet and rolled his shoulders.

"Well, seeing as I doubt Jack here is heading up any time soon, I guess it's my time to shine." He said before making his way over to the song selecter.

Once the song was finish Tomas would get off the stage and head back towards the table. Seeing Jarrah on the way up, he gave him a nod of encouragement as he pass. Getting back to the table with the rest of the group as he wonder what they would say about him singing. Grabbing his drink as he finish it off before saying. "So how did I do?"

Alicia

Finishing her set to some applause, and a 'wolf whistle', she staggered back to their table. "Where'z e'erybudy?" She muttered, as she slumped into her seat. Thirsty, and disappointed that all the glasses at their table were empty, her face lit-up when a waitress approached. "S'rry...too druck to try Japanese..." She mumbled, pointing at the empty bottle of what she?d been drinking. "I'll h've a nudder one of those though...mmm peachy."

"So how did I do?"

"That was pretty good." He replied, saluting Tomas with his seventh (or was it eighth?) beer. "It's good to see you loosening up a bit, you're so serious most of the time...that's not healthy." Dismissing any encroaching gloomy thoughts, he winked at Tomas as he nodded towards Jarrah. "So my favourite walking continent, when are you going to go up there? I'm sure there's some AC/DC, INXS or Kylie Minouge for you...hell they may even have Men at Work."

As Tomas came back from singing his song, Jack grew a small grin and said "terrible, absolutely terrible." When Tomas turned to look at him he then said "I'm just kidding, you did fine. Just for the record though I am not going up there to sing."

"Why I'm thinking of it. Do they have basically everyone song in existence here?" Jack put up the question rather seriously. He gave out a short sigh trying to forget the slight madness of the karaoke bar. That's when he heard Isaac say

"So my favourite walking continent, when are you going to go up there? I'm sure there's some AC/DC, INXS or Kylie Minouge for you...hell they may even have Men at Work."

"Or perhaps there's another song that's rather ridiculous that you'd like to sing. They probably have it." Jack added.

Mirabelle soon had her fill of being up close to the stage, it starting to get a bit too crowded for her tastes. She figured that the best course of action was to meet up with her friends, but which group? Well...Ohka had Sierra with (or at least near) her while Alicia was alone at the table. She figured that she would be interrupting something with the two at the bar (besides, she had no intention of getting a drink) so she headed on over to Alicia's table.

Taking a seat, she said, "I hope i'm not interrupting you. I figured that you wouldn't sing. Still, it was an interesting song...are you ok?"

Alicia

"Naaaa, I'm jus' 'avin' a drink..." She slurred, gesturing to the second bottle of Momoshu the waitress had just brought her. "I figured why not...I'mmean yer supposed to try new shit a collage right?" taking a long pull from the bottle, she let out a satisfied sigh. "Mmmm, an' you can't even taste the alcohol...an' I'm fiiiine...nuttin' wrong with getting' drunk..." Reaching out, she clumsily but softly, stroked Mirabelle's cheek. "Yer v'ry pretty..."

"Naaaa, I'm jus' 'avin' a drink...I figured why not...I'mmean yer supposed to try new shit a collage right?"

"From what i've seen, yes.", Mira said, trying to work through what her friend had said. She was slurring, which wasn't a good sign, last she checked.

"Mmmm, an' you can't even taste the alcohol...an' I'm fiiiine...nuttin' wrong with getting' drunk..."

"Well okay...but i think there is a line between drunk and far too drunk...and i think you may be aproaching that line."

"Yer v'ry pretty..."

"Um...thank you."

Mirabelle was kind of weirded out by Alicia saying that, especially as to why that had come up...but she wasn't going to turn down a compliment.

"I think your pretty too..."

'Don't mention the fact that your still unsure as to what quantifies what makes something pretty or not.', she thought to herself.

Tomas notice all the drinks that Isaac was drinking and shook his head. "What did I say about...you know what..nevermind." He said, but not in a nasty tone. "Enjoy yourself" As Tomas thinks it over in his head about what he said. Maybe he was a bit uptight about stuff. That or the drinks he had were already taking effect on him.

Nah couldn't be, he only had two. As Tomas thought it over, he order himself another Fireball. Wondering which song Jarrah was going to sing tonight.

Alicia

"I think you?re pretty too..."

Alicia's hand fell limply from Mira's face. "Pffft Yer jus' be'n nice..." She said with a huff, grabbing her new drink and taking a swig. "I'm not that pr'tty...my nose is too flat, an' my eyes're too narrow." Before any move could be made to stop her, Alicia whipped off her shirt, leaving her in just her leggings and a sports bra. "You've seen me topless Mira...my tits're too small, an'...an' the left one sags too much." She muttered, fondling herself.

Slumping a bit in here seat, her head drooped until it was on the table. "Look at me, hard an' angular...girls iz supposed to be all soft 'n curvy, an' I'm a fuck'n lump of rock...no guy wants a girlfri'nd who's tougher than him." By now she was muttering into the table top.

"Enjoy yourself"

"Oh I intend to." He replied with a Cheshire cat grin. "To thoroughly butcher an old quote; 'I have not yet begun to drink!' " Downing his current beer, he waved a waitress over. After placing an order, he lent in close to her and whispered something in her ear; the young woman giggled, and began to blush furiously, rushing off to get Isaac's order. "Uh..." was all that Mirabelle could think of saying to Alicia's speech, at least at first. She had never really thought of Alicia as the type to worry about such things, much less that she would discuss them with her...is this what alcohol does to people? She spent a few moments grasping for something to say before finally thinking of something and saying, "I think your being a bit to critical of yourself."

"Most of the things you've pointed out aren't that noticable...i actually hadn't noticed most of it until you pointed it out. And the idea that most men won't be attracted to you because your strong is impractical. Yes, a percentage of the population may not be attracted to that, but you could single out a feature of any person and odds are a decent percentage aren't attracted to it. I am willing to bet that there are more people who don't care about your features and are attracted to you anyways or, more likely to me, that they would be attracted to you because of your features than not. And before you dismiss it, consider this, what you see as your eyes being too narrow, some attractive guy might see as perfect."

"Besides, when i think of hard and angular, as you called yourself, i don't think of just a rock, i think of a diamond...or any other pretty gemstone actually."

Needless to say, the bar had an impressive list of songs on offer, and more than a few Jarrah was farmiliar enough to confiedntly sing. After much deliberation, the 'Aussie Mountain' decided on a suitable song and headed onto the stage.
The opening riff drew the gaze of some of those not watching the stage, and the gusto that Jarrah belted out the lyrics were sure to kkep them.

While Jarrah was singing his song, Tomas was drinking his newly arrive drink. Quickly grabbing it and drinking some of it down already as he was feeling the after effects of drinking a bit to much. He look towards Isacc as he flirted with a Waitress. Seeing her giggle as she was leaving as Tomas shook his head.

"You..you are always" Trying to think of words to say to him. He wasn't drunk drunk, but he couldn't think straight at the moment. "flirting with anything..aren't you. Why is that?" He ask.

Laughing to himself quietly at Tomas's expense, Jack looked over to Isaac while trying to contain his laughter and said "yes Isaac... what could you POSSIBLY want with such a female specimen?"

He couldn't laugh at Jarrah however. He was just as bad at singing as the mountain giant himself.
