Gavin and Stacey- What happened on that fishing trip?

So.. anyone else who watched the show.. what the hell happened on that fishing trip? There were hints everywhere, but we never found out.

nobody knows, the writers wrote it in as an ongoing joke and they never said what happened on it and they probably never will.

I'm guessing that they shagged. I didn't think that Gavin & Stacey was that great, good but not as good as people seem to think each to their own. I remember the Horne & Corden double act sketch show that wasn't great.

The obvious answer... as Total said, they shagged. But with the way they talk about it, I like to think it was something much more hilarious and embarrassing.
