IM off to get my exam results soon- around ten, elevenish- and wondering if anyone else has had theirs yet, or what your'e expecting to get.

me A*s to Bs and a couple of Cs

Needless to say im excited,but not particularly looking for it.

Also im looking to take physics, maths and chemistry for A-level, you?

All I've got are my English resit results to collect. To be honest I'm not really anxious about it, if I fucked up again I'll just resit it again, it's free at college. As for what I intend to do, I'm in college doing a BTEC National Diploma in ICT (when the course starts anyway, I did a different course in ICT last year and finished with a Merit [despite my incessant laziness] but that was a level 2 course, the National Diploma is a level 3).

I'll post back here with what I got if I remember to... although I'll probably forget. I'm heading out to collect them at about half 9.

Just got mine, did okay in Art and English... that's all that matters for me. =]

My target grades sucked though! All D's and only 3 C's, a real confidence boost. >.>
Well, at least I stuck it to the man in the end, F**K you school!

It's funny, that the two I cared about the most (History, Graphics) I did the worst in (ignoring Physics, because that made my brain melt and I hated it.) I also now feel like I've let people down as for the past 2 years I've been repeatedly told how I'll do amazingly well and live up to my predicted grades of all A*s.


For A-Level, I planned on taking History, Maths, English Language and Graphic Design. But I'm not so sure about the last one now...

If I actually took whatever a gcse is, I'm sure I would have nailed all C's like a real man.

RE that`s got to be the easier subject ever ,it`s only now that i wished i`d actually gone in to sit it as opposed to being ill still got to uni though (well i`m going 2010,but ya know)

engineering double award: b + c
modern history: a
i was really worried about physics, because i forgot to take a pencil into my final exam and it was mostly diagrams. i'm taking it in college, so i needed an A. i was so relieved that i got one.

i was fairly relaxed about the other subjects.

also, i have a bit on my school report concerning why i was dropped from RE. "tries hard in RE, but lacks empathy." i cant read it without laughing.

Doesn't look that good, but considering how little effort I put into getting these results it's remarkable.

I knew that I was going to get the five Cs I needed, and that I was going to get a C or above in Science and Maths; I was slightly concerned about my English though.

In sixth form I'm planning on doing Physics, Chemistry, Politics, Maths, and something else I've forgotten now.

But FUCK YEAH! I'm really pleased with my results, for a moment, just a short moment, I was actually worried that I might have to resit my English exams. Looking back I really don't see how I could of doubted myself.

*Everyone in my group got this, our teacher probably didn't mark our exams probably, it's only her first year.

GCSEs don't mean much these days. It's all about A Levels and higher.


Mine, from a few years ago, was 2 A* grades, 5 B grades, 4 C grades. Then A*, B and E in A Levels from 2 years ago.

Pretty happy with those.

English Literature-A*

Science Double Award 1-B
Science Double Award 2-B
French-B
Mathematics-B
R.E-B
Welsh-C
Art-C
Graphics-C
I can't actually remember what my other class was...Weird. o_O

AS/A Levels
A*-Media
B-English Literature (low grade due to the subject matter being THE worst book in the world, Emma, by Jane Austen)
E-R.E (low grade due to my girlfriend being in the same class, and sat in front of me in the exam. Unfair!)

So not bad :D quite happy.

One guy got A* for EVERYTHING. I dont understand how people can do that :S
