Well, obviously people know if this applies to them or not: Are you happy with them, or not?

Personally, I think everything went better than expected! Got better results than I thought I would get in several subjects, and I have the grades I need to get into Sixth Form! So, how about you guys?

Well, um, considering I got them years ago... to answer, yeah, they were OK (like, how did I get an A* in French?!).

Anyway.. to stop being an idiot: congrats, are you drunk yet?(!)

Not yet! To be honest it was more of a party when we finished our last exam in June :)

3 A's, 4 B's, 3 C's. Much better than I thought I was going to do. Going to do Music, Music Technology, Maths and Psychology, the prerequisites for which were pretty much just B in English (Psy.) and B in Maths(obvious) and I got both, so I should be alright.

Well thanks to the stupid exam result letter I recieve a month ago, I was late on getting my result (I retook English to improve my current grade to a C) so I have to wait for my result in the post.

I got what i needed to to take Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Geology in College, so all is well!
But they seemed to of dragged one of my grades down (was a C, gone down to a D) of a result that i had for a year. Odd.

But anyway, all is well.
And my rather full-of-himself friend didn't do as well as he thought he would do...

I got 5 A's and 4 A*s

Probably the first time in my life I can say "LIKE A BOSS" and be completely justified in doing so.

It also means I get a new TV, so 'fuck to the yeah', I guess!

And to those of you that got rubbish marks, remember this one piece of advice...

No gherkins on my double cheeseburger!

I know that's been used to death, but I couldn't help myself.

Congrats to all those who did well. When I did mine two or three years ago I got about 7 c's so if you did better than that, well, go get pissed :p You deserve it.

When I look back at how much work I put into my GCSE'd... I'm damn happy with my results; although I know that if I put the work in I could easily have don better. Anywho, 3 A*'s and 7 A'S. While we're on topic, just got AS results; pretty happy with those too.

Oh I remember GCSEs... if you thought they were hard, Have fun with your A Levels! Those bastards were probably harder combined than doing my degree is.

Anyway, well done all, hope you all did well. Not as well as I did of course, especially if you hope to go into geology when you're older. Can't be having too much competition y'see.

I'm kidding. Hope you all got great results.

At least you don't live in Ireland, people here have to contend with the Leaving Cert.

Meh.

I got what I need to study the things I've chosen at college. I don't really care about them to be honest. School pissed me off too much to give a shit about anything. I've done okay, could have been worse.

Here's hoping College isn't filled with stupid twats and/or arsehole lecturers.

So... what are GCSE's?
Exams that you take when you're 15 or 16 in the UK. It's the last exam of compulsory eduction.
Our school had an 81% pass rate.
