Woo for pre-ordering Gears. Now I just need to wait to put in the beta code.

I won't be buying and I don't do Gold, but I don't feel the least bit at a loss. From what little I've seen, Gears 3 still looks more appealing (long term) than Bulletstorm. As Orcus_35 stated above, these perks going pay-per-play DLC would not be unheard of given the popular trend.

Nice...it would be nice if it didn't require Gold Membership to play the Beta of Gears 3...then again it's Microsofts console I am speaking of...so most likely I need Gold Membership to play the beta. Hope I get some money until Beta starts.

Why is everything released so close to Portal 2?! First I find out that Mortal Kombat get's released the 19th, the day after Portal 2, and now the Gears beta starts ON the day Portal 2 comes out! Give me damn break, I gotta job you know, so I gotta sleep sometime!

I'm happy that they have put in some unlockables for playing the beta, but I just wish they would have atleast one thing which is hard to get for the good players out there. Currently anyone in the beta will be able to get them very easily
