Geek Tattoos

I think that inking yourself is a pretty deep showing for something you love or are really interested in, and I was wondering if any of you guys out there had gone the distance for something that you might consider a bit on the nerd side. Maybe something videogame or cartoon based.

I personally have a 1up mushroom on my left inner forearm. I like to think that when I die, the tattoo will vanish from my arm, and I'll restart my life at the beginning of the level. Eventually I'd like to get a whole sleeve of different video game icons, like the Tri-Force, some cherries, a red potion, things like that.

I know a guy who has the name of thse guys from "Bleach" (Yamakashi... Shinobi...? sth like
that ) on his back.

Personally I would never do a geek tatoo (even though I plan to have most of my body tatooed some day), it's just... ehh nvm.

I can understand why alot of people would be hesitant getting a geek tattoo, but for me gaming and such was a huge part of my childhood and development, and something very near and dear to me. The idea of celebrating it as an everlasting memory in ink just has some appeal to me.

I used to work with a fella he had Yoda's portrait on his bicep, the rebel alliance symbol on his other bicep and (allegedly) an X-Wing on his shoulder.


I also used to date a chick who had the Imperial logo as a tramp stamp. (After a quick internet search this is more popular than you'd think)

Thats not even a good tattoo... looks like it was drawn by a 8 year old. An 8 year old whos below the average skill level of drawing at that.

Although I am planing on getting a tattoo of flames going up from my wrist half-way up my upper arm, that's going to be cool.
