If he tells everyone to sue anyone who pirates his music (making a reference to freckle faced college kids) wouldn't that cause a lower college rate? Kids won't be able to go to college (and might turn to the government). If they turn to the government that's more money we won't have for the future and more money these already rich folks have.

The sad part is that you guys not associated with Simmons are in fact "Anonymous", whether you like or not. Gene how about before blaming pirating for declining sales how about finding an objective opinion of the quality of the releases product. When was the last time Simmons, or Kiss for that matter made anything worth owning? Twenty, actually more like thirty years ago. THEY WANTED THE BEST, SO YOUR FANS WENT AND FOUND SOME ONE ELSE!

You know...normally I don't think much of anon's ridiculous internet crusades, but knowing how retarted and narrow-minded his words were, in this case I sincerely can't help but hope their harrasment continues for a long while. Not that Gene will learn a thing or two about how much the world has changed in the 20 years since he's held any kind of grasp upon it all but still...it'll be fun!

i personally don't havea problem with trying to fight piracy, but my problem is when someone steals a $1 song, they get charged with $60000 or so, financially ruining them. and for what, an example? it just doesn't seem right to destroy a person's life for a simple stupid decision just because the people enforcing it can't catch everyone elseBigEaZyE said:

Even though this needs to be re-worded; yes, He (Gene) is looking to make it a felony for something as trivial as copying music for personal use. In the US, a Felony is worse then a death sentence since it's nearly impossible to live a normal life with one on file.Beastialman said:

Hope the site keeps following this. I'm interested to see whether or not Simmons is making empty threats, or if some of those hackers are royally dicked.
