Here's the big one I was holding back on...I kind of liked Twilight when I first read it. I thought New Moon was interesting but I knew where it was going since the entire saga was out when I read the second. I thought the third went nowhere except for that one death. I thought the fourth shouldn't have existed: it should have ended with a wedding which should have been the end of the third. The stuff with the baby and the tons of other Vampires was just stupid considering Breaking Dawn was the end of the Saga. Seriously: why are you going to introduce 2 dozen new characters in the second half of the final book of a saga?! The Order of the Phoenix didn't swoop in during chapter 28 of Deathly Hollows!

Here's a not as big one: I'm unironically reading 50 Shades of Grey and enjoying it as much as I can despite all of the parallels I've noticed between it and Twilight. All of the bondage references though have made me chuckle or just outright laugh out loud. I was afraid it would make me ashamed of my hobby but I'm not done with it yet so there's plenty of time for me to shame again.

I own and enjoy playing with my Virtual Boy...then my eyeballs bleed and I have to take a 15 minute break.

I believe that Batman is one of the most boring characters, and is only tolerable due to the fun psychopaths he hangs around with

I believe that people make too big of a deal over what their favorite food is

I believe that science and religion can co-exist in this world

I believe that damning from ignorance is damned ignorant

I believe that anyone who would willingly think up, green light, produce, direct, or pay for a parody movie -all in separate parts- deserves to dropped in a tank full of jellyfish

I believe that the Harry Potter series was just average

And I don't much care for MLP, Doctor Who, LoL, that EA may be evil, Half-life, people who think that CoD shouldn't exist, or people that will go on and on about how their favorite game is the greatest thing that will ever exist.

Wow, there are a surprising number of people taking this opportunity to voice racist/sexist/otherwise bigoted views. Also a lot of anti-bacon sentiment.

My unpopular opinion is that Half-Life isn't a good game.
Can you elaborate? Half-Life is kinda a big deal, its effect on the genre is pretty much objective. Yeah, its aged a bit, but for its time it was fantastic
I am aware of its effects on FPS storytelling at large, but I just don't find it fun. Also, I should make it clear that I'm talking about Half-Life 2, as I've never played the first.
Believe me, my problem isn't that it's aged, considering that I still like the original Deus Ex. The gunplay just feels way too standard, the health system is my least favorite kind (first aid scavenging is not my thing), and the setting was boring and ugly for the most part. The gravity gun was a nice touch, though.

I can see why others might like it, but I just can't stand that game.

This is more or less my opinion of Half-life 2. I can see the effect it has had on the FPS genre, but by itself, I just dont find it that entertaining.

Dubstep is awful.

You're sick for not liking bacon.

Most TV isn't funny.

Bronies are closet cases, there's nothing wrong with being queer, but it's healthier to be forthright about it.

Did someone really just say Minecraft is overlooked? Boring to be certain, but quite prolific.

Half Life 2 was overrated, the first one is gold.

Most anime is crap because no one can empathize with teenagers.

Now here's a real bad one; in the U.S., Mexicans have turned back the clock for blue collar jobs by lowering labor costs and acceptable conditions, and they're shoddy carpenters.

Oh, boy. I get to say things that I think make me special...just like I did in the other thread!

- I believe ancient people were not nearly as stupid as a lot of modern people seem to think.

- Pulp Fiction is a bloated, schizophrenic mess
- Quentin Tarantino has never made even a decent movie out of those I have seen (Includes the following: Pulp Fiction, True Romance, Kill Bill vol I and II, Inglorious Basterds)
- Fight Club is obnoxious and pretentious (David Fincher is still a good director and all)
- I also hate Avatar

- Batman Forever on the SNES is not all that bad, I'd call it decent but monotonous and long
- Piracy and modding are a good way to keep a console's/game's legacy going after they have been abandoned. Just look at the Dreamcast!
- Playstation 2 controllers feel cheap and gummy to me, like the buttons will stick at any moment.

- Bullying is not the biggest problem in America (I don't know if demonizing bullies is still a trend. I might be a year late)
- Fist Fighting the Bully is the best thing to do if ignoring him/her doesn't work

People need to stop looking for reasons to be offended at everything
Also, most of what this gentleman said. Especially the quote above.

That's about all i got. I used my others in the Video Game specific thread.
