Sports games (I always hated sports), games like the Disgaea series. I tried one of them not only could I not get into it, I really suck at that type of game. I almost forgot, fighter games although, I am enjoying Dissidia even though I suck at it.

I'm a renaissance gamer. I can get into any genre as long as it's good.

Oh wait, except sports games, BORING!
Hooray for common ground (except, strangely, for baseball video games shorter than 6 innings, and maybe fantasy racing games)! I like playing RTS games. I'm just not very good at them.

I'm really not a sandbox kind of guy. I like knowing that I have something worth doing, rather than just running around and blowing shit up.

Sports and Fighting games, the first designed for drunken-frat-hoedowns, and the second seems to be lacking in anything but the aforementioned fighting.

-World War (I or II) games (and yes, from now on I call that it's own genre because it's a rape-tastic amount of games related)
-JRPGs
-Almost any game in a series I've never cared for (I.E. Naruto or etc)
-Really old games like Metroid 1 (because I had to fucking BUY a MAP for it! But they fixed that problem in Super Metroid (<3))
-Team Fortress-ish games, including the hoards of mouth-foaming, granadespamming bastards that always use a cheap rocketlauncher or snipe your head off with an overly elaborate-headshot
-MMO's
-Sport games

Damn aint I diverse and artsy.

Sports games. It's pretty silly how someone would buy a game where you play a sport that you can do in real life... I mean, I play Guitar Hero but that's different.

I generally like all kinds of games. Shooter, RPG, music, platformer, horror, or whatever else you can throw at me. Just not sports games...

Horror games, I just can't see the attraction of them.
The same thing that would drive a person to watch a horror movie or ride a roller coaster. Fear gives you sort of a little buzz like getting high for a couple of seconds and since it would be dangerous to actually throw you in a life threatening situation and it's illegal and hazardous to your health to actually do drugs, it's the next best thing. I read a book on that a while ago so I might have gotten some information wrong, but you get my gist.

Most first- and third-person shooters put me off. The stories are becoming so similar and I play games for the unique stories. There are still plenty of fun shooters with a good background story, but by and large its just space marine this and Nazi that. Hoping MW2 will have an epic story, though.

Sports, JRPGs, horror, and can't stress this last one enough: Realistic/Military shooters. What's fun about dying in two hits while trying to fight a horde of infinitely respawning, super-accurate enemies?

For me it has to be JRPG's.
Just far too many cut scenes. Also, many jrpg's are turn-based. Turn-based play me no likey.

EDIT: I would also say sports games if I even recognized their pathetic existence as a genre.

Fighting, Most Racing and

SPORTS

I will never like sports games. So useless.

"Comming soon Madden XXX now encased in Madden's skin"

"This skin was MADE for FOOTBALLLLLL"

When will it stop.

For some reason, I've never been able to get into third-person shooters, with one exception. Brute Force is by far my favorite last-gen game, reguardless what anyone says. Slightly off topic, I have trouble getting into single player.

I like them because you have to be smart, also I don't find them that difficult, although I haven't played too many of those kinds of games, only cod4 hardcore, rainbow six vegas 2, and GRAW2.
