Looks like TCM and Paranormal Activity are worth checking out.

Jacobs Ladder, son. Jacobs Ladder. It's a must see movie if you love the Silent Hill series.

The cube is pretty freaky. Really fucks with you. especially hypercube.
What are these movies, anyway? I have heard of Event Horizon, but never heard of The Cube.

Easy choice, horrendously easy choice.

Marble Hornets.
Go look that up, it's free, 28-part and on Youtube.

Be prepared to not sleep for a few weeks.

Would you care to explain it? I'm a wuss in this kind of stuff...

Try Aliens. I actually wasn't scared at all by Alien.
Eh, look around for the Slender Man. On the Internet first, then you'll be forced to IRL.
Marble Hornets is a Slender Man based movie.

I feel like if I tell you anything else, it'll spoil the movie.
And if you do watch it, watch very closely.

Read Salems' Lot a few years ago. Scared the piss out of me. But it was a slow burn kind of fear. A month after I found myself alone in the house for a few hours and ended up in a corner with the kitchen cross while forbidding anyone from entering until my mom came home.

The Shining(Stanley Kubrick version, not the TV-movie) is not very gory, but it is really freaky. I would recommend that. Also the first Alien movie. Not as gory as people say it is. Maybe the Blair witch project, if you can stand shaky cameras.

I'm not usually one to shy away from horror once I've started but...
I've only watched the intro and #1 and already it's far scarier than any 'horror' movie I've seen in years! It's so well done, TOO well done.
Damn you for posting this!

Paranormal Activity and Marble Hornets are the best scary movies I know of, because they don't really rely on jump-scares. Jump-scares are stupid.
If you are going to see Paranormal Activity, see the one with the good ending. I think there are three different endings actually, only one of them is really good I think. Again, because it doesn't contain any jump-scares.
