disliking somthing popular does not make your opioning automatically supirior, its popular for a reason

while I dislike people who hate something just because it is popular I hate people even more when they say it's popular for a reason because that implies the reason is a god reason when it isn't always e.g. CoD MW is popular because it was a very good single player experience people recommended to their friends which then played it even without having played other games so when they went to multiplayer they thought it was awesome (because of lack of comparison) then by the time MW2 came out the game has reached the point were it is popular because it is popular.

People who play Call of Duty and get all up at me when I say I play games besides FPSs.

don't remind me I did a presentation about how games are an art form and gave call of duty as an example by comparing it to the expendables (popular, no artistic quality, a lot of people hate and a lot of people like it) and then gave borderlands as an example of a game which is bad art but still a good game (compared it to the a-team). Now everyone acts like I only play borderlands and that I think it's the best game ever, even though I mentioned that it's my favourite game it isn't nearly one of the best games out there(at best it would end up in the top 100 near 100).

Kyle, SHUT THE FUCK UP. I understand that you want to try out for Hairspray and get the role of Corny Collins, but no, you won't. You're a fucking awkward, egotistical douche, not the smooth, cool guy required for the role. And you are NOT the best person in theatre, no matter what you tell yourself, stop putting yourself on a fucking pedestal. I don't even know why you got into the Advanced Theatre class, every time you go up in front of an audience, you can only play one character: the awkward, creepy guy. Nothing else. Stop saying you'll continue the tradition of our school's theatre program being amazing, because you're bringing it down. And in the soccer game in PE on Friday, the other team didn't want to be there, they weren't trying at all. Don't act like scoring seven goals alone against them is an accomplishment, it's no better than beating a guy with a broken arm at arm wrestling, then boasting about it. YOU AREN'T COOL, STOP TRYING TO MAKE YOURSELF LOOK LIKE YOU ARE, all you are doing is making yourself look like a douchebag.

I used to like you all. All you girls used to be my best friends. But now you aren't, because you've turned into loud, obnoxious, stereotypical teenage girls that talk about Facebook in real life, argue over who's going to have the, and I quote "coolest Sweet Sixteen party of all time", and gossip the fuck out of everything you hear. STOP INVITING ME TO SHIT, I'm not going to come. Ever wonder why I sit away from you at lunch, and never talk to you otherwise? Because you annoy the living shit out of me. And please, oh my dear GOD, do NOT try out for Advanced Theatre next year. The class is already loud and obnoxious as it is, with all of you there just talking to each other and not caring about the actual work we do, it'll bring the entire fucking class down. There's a reason Sheldon is known for its theatre company, and it's because we are dedicated. We will work on any piece until it is absolutely perfect, repeating it until we all have it down, and unless you're willing to put that much work into it, don't bother. If you're just in there because you have a lot of friends there, get the fuck out of theatre. Please, I beg of you.

I hate how people HAVE to hate things even when things are pretty decent. Things like Final Fantasy XIII. Square Enix lost customer trust and loyalty, somewhere around FFXII or FFX-2, so whenever they come out with a new final fantasy now, people try to find reasons to hate it. They'll say they have "plot holes" like that "WHHHEEEEEERE did Light get her sword from after the first cutscene, HUH?! HUH?!" 'plot hole' where you could clearly see her pick it up if you looked. They'll also say things like "You don't even use strategy in this game!" The paradigm system makes you use a lot of strategy, actually, in battle (when to switch paradigms, how to get the stagger percentage up to the highest, etc) and out of battle (which is the best formation for a healing paradigm?). There is an auto-battle button to make the battles go at a faster pace, making the paradigm system the most you get out of strategizing, but you're free to not use it and strategize further if you want. (of course, it's perfectly acceptable to legitimately not like it, it's not the best game in the world, but please don't dislike square's new games just because you feel like you have to. Give credit where it's due.)

having watched spoony one's review of final fantasy 8 and 10 a character getting a sword out of nowhere makes perfect sense, because the plot holes in those games are so big not even chuck Norris could close them.

No. I mean I'm sick of people constantly insulting Glenn Beck (implying that the random quote I made up is the person hating Beck).

Oh, and people do like him. That's why he has a show that's yet to be canceled.
