Sorry, by power I mean the requirement for games, not the PSU. SLI is not economical (2x price, 1.5x the power) and if you are not using that power you are better off saving the extra cost for an earlier upgrade later.

Yeah I'm not sure. I'm planning on buying my components after Christmas and into January so hoping there might be some special offers on somewhere and I could save some money off the bat. If not - I'd just like to be able to start off being able to play something like GTAV with the options pretty much maxed out and keeping a consistent framerate. That's the dream anyway - not sure if 2x GTX970 is overkill or not...
