well....MABYE

Ive been giving this some serious thourght

I know I may be abondoning the glorious PC gaming master race (well not entirely..damned If ill ever play a FPS with a gamepad) but I feel it is time to invest in the future, more or less, DRM and digital distribution are becoming a real headache

here are my questions

PS3. Im leaning towards the PS because of its exclusives, it fills the gap better, plus Im more single player orientated

1. capacity: I notice some consoles have greater capactiy than others (160gb 320gb) why is this? does it have somthing to do with save games?

2. HD I think my TV may be HD, though it is kinda small...is this going to be much of an issue?

3. second hand...big mistake? will it more likley screw up on me? or should I be relitivley ok?

1. Games are installed on a PS3, much like a PC, so the more games you think you'll buy, the bigger you want your HDD.

2. No, all games run just fine on an old TV, I was using an old CRT piece of shit for a while.

3. I dunno, I never buy things second hand.

1. Not that I know of. If you download lots of games from PSStore I guess you could need 320...

2. Depends what you mean with "issue". Smaller TV means that you have to sit closer, and if you would want to splitscreen it's going to be annoying.

3. Don't know here. I usually go first hand because... Well, most of the time you don't save _that_ much and it's always safer and more "fresh".

1. Yeah I'm pretty sure that has to do with the storage space. I bought a really old PS3 and now I'm starting to get messages that I'm running out of room :/

2. If you're TV is HD then all you'll need is a HDMI cable to play in HD and all it's glory. Doesn't matter how small it is, if it's HD it will still look good, better than my crappy Sd TV :(

3. I'm not sure, it shouldn't be a problem, unlike the 260 the PS3 doesn't die as often and if it does there are some "primitive" fixes that you can do at home.

Oh and as for exclusives...Ratchet and Clank!!!!!

You also might want to try out the Resistance series, God of War, Heavy Rain and a whole bunch of other exclusives.

Plus there are the HD remakes such as the God of War collection, Sly Collection and the upcoming God of War PSP collection and Ico collection.

Yeah RDR is another great game and inFamous is a lot of fun although I preferred the Sly series myself. It really is up to you, I'm not going to put a gun to your head and force yout to, just giving some personal opinions. I've had my PS3 since 2007 and I haven't regretted it since.
