Getting a song out of your head

Customary greetings, thread viewer.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get rid of an earworm? Are there any songs you know of which, once you listen to them, cling to your brain like melodious leeches? I've had the song Ih-Ah! in my head for three or four days now, and it is getting incredibly intrusive. Especially when it interferes with other musical activities.
Listening to it over and over has proven ineffective, as has the method of trying to replace it with another catchy tune. Sitting in silence and trying to clear my mind didn't work.

I'm getting desperate here. Help me!

Have you tried to read the lyrics of the song?

I find that if there a parts of the lyrics which you are not sure off, it tends to bug me, more so than less.

You could try to hear it again but, this time try to enjoy the song and not be impatient about it going away.

You at least for me I find that if I try not to think of or avoid something you will end up thinking about it more, and trust me I am quite obsessed about controlling my thoughts pretty much a little everyday.

If all else fails, you will just have to wait it out.

I use this to get rid of ear-worms, though Mario just replaces it I find it to be more tolerable instead of just having one part over and over from some poppy song I don't like.

Start singing "The Song That Never Ends" for ten minutes.

Alternatively, play this loudly.

The songs that get stuck in my head are usually by Anti-Flag and I want those stuck in there.

Listening to the same song over and over will only make it stick.

Still, I may have a cure for you:
Although I guess this is the worst thing that can get stuck... I'm a terrible person...

Well, there's always the Ducktales themesong...

More seriously, I find the best solution is simply not to care. The song's playing in your head? Let it. The more you worry about it, the more attention you pay to it and the more annoying it becomes. So my advice is just to sit back and enjoy the music. Though if you absolutely must find a new song to push the old one out (incidentally, dare I ask which song that is?), you might brave the ear worm page on TVTropes...there's a LOT of material there.

Listen to something else, and a lot of it. It tends to drown out the other song. Here are some songs to get you started:
