I could never find anyone to play with, unless I was doing tournaments, and I still lagged a little during them.Darkrai said:I have a blast on the Nintendo Wifi with Super Smash Bros Brawl.Slacker2000 said:50$ is a small price to pay for a year of fun. You do know that when Gold expires, you DON'T loose you gamrtag and gamerscore, right? Because it sounded like you didn't.jebussaves88 said:You should all know that you get a month of Live free everytime you start a new account. All you're paying for is to keep your gamertag and gamerscore.
I dunno, I find typing up this reply to you quite easy and effecientMischiviktus said:Wrong, Nintendo didn't get it right, or even close, the whole concept of online from Nintendo is a mesh from hell. Sony, sure, it's sorta like xbox 360, and they're adding in irc text chatroom-like stuff *snickers*...seriously anyone who thinks that's a great idea needs to get meds, why the hell would we go back to text when we have voice? Or a messaging system.
It is (why else would it have wifi built in?), just not for the same games MS and Sony have developed for their system. Games like Mario Party or PGA Golf are what Nintendo had in mind for it's network. Games with tons of on screen action, like FPS's or most team sports games, are not.Jumplion said:But anyway, I really don't get where the conceptions of PSN being horrible compared to LIVE is coming from. Nintendo Wi-Fi I can understand, though the system isn't built for online.
I meant system as in console. The Wii, as a sysytem, is hardly intended for multipurpose online gaming and to suggest so is a little whacked up to say the least. While, yes, it does have games with online capabilities, the main focus of the wii is offline single-player games or offline split-screen multiplayer or some variation of that.paypuh said:It is (why else would it have wifi built in?), just not for the same games MS and Sony have developed for their system. If your good at something don't do it for free. You can give away free piles of shit next to a jewlery store but that wont make them give away free necklesses. It's asentially the same thing. The Wii's online gaming and PSN are shitty and XBL is amazing so microsoft is allowed to charge like 7 dollars a month for it. Trust me it's worth it.Zethen said:So my Xbox live gold membership recently ran out, and I am sitting here staring at amazon.com and wondering why im about to pay 50 bucks for another year of online gaming, sony got it right, god even nintendo got it right, but the cash cow that is microsoft is just unwilling to get its gold soaked hands off the piggy bank! anyone agree?
Yea if you can't do that you should probobly sell your 360 for some food or somethingFlap Jack452 said:If your unable to pay roughly 7 cents a day then you have much, much bigger problems than online gaming.
I don't see why people keep saying PSN is horrid, Nintendo's I can see because it's severely lacking in most areas, but PSN is just as good as LIVE to me.MicrosoftPaysMe said:If your good at something don't do it for free. Also I hate this argument, because it can be used against you: If you can afford paying for online how come you can't afford a PS3 LOL PS3 WINSS!!!!!1111oneoneoneone. But people overuse this argument without really explaining why they shell out $50 year after year for a service that Sony and Nintendo have for free and in Sony's case does just as well (minus the party system).MicrosoftPaysMe said:Yea if you can't do that you should probobly sell your 360 for some food or somethingFlap Jack452 said:If your unable to pay roughly 7 cents a day then you have much, much bigger problems than online gaming.
$50.00 for a 13 month gold account is no more expensive than a 12 month subscription to a magazine.Zethen said:So my Xbox live gold membership recently ran out, and I am sitting here staring at amazon.com and wondering why im about to pay 50 bucks for another year of online gaming, sony got it right, god even nintendo got it right, but the cash cow that is microsoft is just unwilling to get its gold soaked hands off the piggy bank! anyone agree?
Me too. I would like to see arguments other than "LOL XBL IS BEST, PSN IS SHIT LOL"HappyPillz said:This is really starting to annoy me. What is it that makes Xbox Live so much better than PSN?
I've been online with both systems and there realy is no difference. Only PSN is FREE.
