I SHOULD be getting a key because i played conviction. Hope its good!

You may see it as "dumbing down". But i see it as "streamlining". Rainbow 6 vegas was streamlined in the good way. Conviction went too far.

If you look a bit closer.... CLOSER.... There you go! You will see it doesnt look like the "typical" shooter. It seems to a least be TRYING to be tactical about it. Then again i could be wrong, we shall see.

Not if your looking for a semi realistic tactical squad shooter.

Everything that came after Ghost Recon 1 & Raven Shield was a nonsense.

Vegas ? It could of been decent if it didn't have that dumb ass 3rd person cover mode and bs health regeneration possibly.

Eh, i think the earlier ones went too far. So far, it wasnt fun anymore. I liked the cover system, better than leaning. I guess the health regen was a bit annoying though.

I only had a PC up until the cats pushed me down the stairs (yes they fucking pushed me the evil bastards) and I wound up in hospital.

Came out and my missus had bought me a PS3 to help me get better.

Painkillers and a few back rubs would have worked better but we can't have everything.

Ah well, we have different opinions on whats fun

The game was difficult enough, you couldnt just run and gun so good times. You could even afford a few mistakes because of health regen, a few bullets still killed you though.

Having to memorise where enemies were through trial and error isnt that fun :/

Although a hardcore mode wouldnt have hurt. They DID have that in the multi where bullets did more damage etc. The cover system also "zoomed in" the view so you couldnt see what was around the corner until you peeked out. Wasnt in campaign though.

Lol, calling GR1 realistic is really pushing it. It is laughable to think that a game where 6-8 people took on 40-50 enemies and tanks is even "semi-realistic". You want a real tactical shooter that is actually realistic then try to play Arma.
