We've all enjoyed going to the arcade every once in a while right? One arcade game you may have played is Ghost Squad. Ghost Squad was created by Saga! It is a very fun arcade game. You shoot the crap out of some terrorists. Save people, blow stuff up, and so forth. But the game was later created for the Wii! It can be played with the Wii zapper or not. The game for both Wii and the arcade is a rail shooter. You have no control on where you go........ kinda but I'll get to that later. This is what happened for the Wii version. What happens is that your part of an anti-terrorist group called Ghost Squad (hence forth the name.) There are only three levels to the game. Each one with a different story. As you play you get XP points. You can get different guns and uniforms. The uniforms are just for fun. The guns give you a different feel to the game. You can go in with an automatic assault rifle or a pistol. In each mission there are checkpoints where you choose were you go. One way may have you given and assignment to rescue hostages. Another may lead you to a bomb that you have to defuse. If you successfully complete the mission you'll get points. If you don't health will be taken away from your health bar. Yes there is a health bar. So if your to fixed on hiding and regenerating health. Then you may be screwed! Now at the end of each map you ironically have to take out the leader of the group that's attacking you. There's one that you have to blow the person out of the sky. Another were you have to snipe a gun on a plane. Which is stupid I'm 2-3 yards away from the guy and I have to snipe is head on a plane. If I don't his is head I fail. Talk about BS. Lastly you have you mow a guy down with a MG w/ a nade launcher (AKA noob tube.) As you finish all of these levels you get Xp points to level up. Besides the fact that you get guns and uniforms like I said before the levels can level up as well. The missions will get longer, but not very harder. So if you play right you can level up very quickly if you shoot the guys right. Now on the arcade version it's a lot more simpler. You make the levels harder with out leveling up. You don't need to worry about ranking up. There are already limited amount of gun and uniforms. So now you don't have to work for them. The game in general is pretty fun. But gets boring after a while. Like after you unlock everything.

Graphics- 3 stars
story- 2 stars
gameplay-4 stars
online game play- none (there is no online game play. if it did then i would bet it would get 4 stars.)
co-op with a friend- 5 stars
a must buy- eh you can if you want something different to play. But in stars 3 stars
recommendation- 3 1/2 stars

total-
24.5/35 stars

Not that orgainzed, you have a very big wall of text, bad punctuation, and you don't really shed enough detail on tthis game (As in not talking about the Water Gun mode for Wii, but since you didn't say which version you played).
everybody's a critic

Yea I kinda rushed on this one. but either way there are only two version Wii and arcade. If I was able to tell you both and tell you the differences then I must of played them both now HUH!

Its just a big wall of text, use paragraphs. Who's Saga..you don't explain...do you mean Sega?

The review itself is poor, it offers no information regarding how it is to play. In fact, your opinion is rarely seen, as the review simply uses short sentences to describe the most obvious of points - try using commas. As such it flows terribly, making it difficult to force yourself to read to the end.

Grammatically its also poor making it difficult to read. Lets not forget the poor use of a numerical scoring system (we want to know how you feel about a game from the text, not a number that could be interpreted differently.

In short, it needs a lot of work. I would begin with the format, then the content. Try to read reviews from established posters to gain an insight into the quality expected. "I rushed" is not an excuse - theres no race to post.

Try reading the linked reviews to gain some insight - I'm not saying these are perfect, but its a good way to learn.

35 stars? The hell?

I'm sorry but this is a terrible review. Your spelling is bad and you lack simple grammar pieces like paragraphs and complete sentences. I was only confused about the game all the way through your review, and your arbitrary scoring system is just the icing on the top of this confusing-wall-of-text cake you're calling a review.

And yes, everyone is a critic when you post your review on an open forum.

Oh no I'm posting in the thread.

Seriously, what's wrong with a little constructive criticism?

A little? a little!? A little would be just two post of criticism. But all this is instead of hearing comments on my thread about the game. I'm getting bombed on my f***in grammar. All because too many people can't say time have pasted, suck it up, and move on with their live. I can do that except you people keep b****ing about stupid grammar......................................... God I'm having a bad day.............................................I need a snack......................... *takes deep breath* *walking into a sound proof box and lets it all out (and I mean all of it)*

You should learn how to take constructive criticism. And work on your grammar.

Hey, if you want to make a thread about the game, do it in the Gaming Discussion. Nothing wrong with that. People expect that you intend to generate discussion about your review, being that this is the, you know, user review section. Plus, even if you felt that someone stepped out of line, you can just politely say that you'd like some comments on the game, and not your grammar, as opposed to all of the ranting and raving.

Hi! Welcome to the Escapist!

You seem to have stumbled into the User Review section, this section allows you (the user) to post reviews of games, movies, or other media outlets for your fellow Escapists to enjoy! In doing so you're giving them the right to not only read over your review, but give you tips for your future writing escapades! Before you post your review please make sure that you take your time-it isn't a race you know!-spell check twice, and that you have all of the necessary information to give to your readers on what you're reviewing! Remember to have fun, and to be open to criticism. The people here aren't trying to hurt your feelings, they're just trying to enjoy what you've written!

Seriously buddy, enough swearing and excuses. Rushing your review? Don't post it if it isn't finished. Nobody is trying to be you in a reviewer race. You swear much too much for someone whom I am guessing to be around the age of twelve should swear, you can't take criticism, and you blame outside occurrences for your mistakes.

You should be so lucky to get the kind of help that was given to you here from other forums. If you don't like it, then I suggest leaving, because no one is going to change for you.
