For a real non-smug antogonist answer, they're arguing about whether the movie will make back its money in DVD sales. Given the movie iself is just a remake of a well-known movie, I'm thinking the response is similar to the theaters, a decided "Meh".

So the studio made plenty of money but the movie is not profitable.

This kerfuffle is odd to me. Then again, I'm still pissed at Aliens Colonial Marines and am genuinely surprised it has its own fanbase who will vilify anybody who finds fault with it or with how it was marketed.
