Did she check the corpse for any useful items? That's the usual RPG tactic. *Is reminded that Pokemon is not that kind of RPG series.*

I guess something like this would happen eventually. At least it happened to a college age girl and not a little kid.

I've actually been thinking about stuff like this and I'm incredibly worried about kids going out walking at the dead of night to catch some of this shit.

I definitely would have done it when I was younger and I know they will too.

As someone said, I'm waiting for kids to start being hit by cars or people to walk off ledges/fall down stairs and all sorts of shit.

This app is dangerous for kids mang. I've watched them play it. The way they walk their eyes are glued to it harder than anything I've seen. It's like they permanently have VR headsets on.

I still can't believe they haven't made a Pokemon MMO.

OT: Does that mean the guy became a Haunter? Did she find that water pokemon she was looking for?

Actually OT: That would be pretty unsettling, especially since he was dumped there recently.

I looked around and apparently there was no foul play involved.

Did she catch that Cubone though?
From what I understand she hadn't beaten the Team Rocket leader in the next town over (Lander [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lander,_Wyoming]), so she wasn't carrying the Silph Scope.

Pokemon GO feels like a Japanese spy program set to record on foreign soil and tricks children into doing their bidding by zapping pokemon all over the place.

If only Ash's adventures had been this interesting.
If only Stand By Me had Pokemon.

Seriously, though, this is fucked up, but I expect we'll hear worse.

"All I have to do to get a Mew is take pictures of the interior of this nuclear facility? Score!"

(yeah, this wouldn't happen, but reality is no fun)

Absolutely my first thought upon reading the threat title. Funny thing, I've caught around 12 Pokemon in my house and have yet to trek in search of... makes me wonder what I'll find at the local Pokecenter (a Baptist church).

I wish I could play Pokemon Go. But I dont have data and I live in a city where walking around could be dangerous, both actively and passively.

My reason (well ok it's not out in the UK, I mean I'm not doing to download it) is that I don't used the wifi on my phone nor do I have the cash to keep the wifi all the time (I'm pay as you go).

OT- I was expecting much worse like involving a van and a kidnapping.

It's not the kids you should be worrying about-

I'm sort of curious, now. Does the game operate off a wardriving sort of deal? Running around looking for different signals, or is it location based? Because I get like fifty WiFi sources around here....
