This sort of thing happens with a certain minority of people. She isn't the only one doing something like this.

I think she's pretty crazy. But just the same, maybe I'm pretty horrible like her in many ways. I kind of feel a sympathy that borderlines on endearment when I hear about her. I should be angry at her for sympathizing with this man so horrible. I disagree with her %100 and I think it is crazy that she thinks this. However, it is hard to me to be angry at her because she sounds misguided rather than cruel.
Perhaps I am kind of messed up like these women who do this over these twisted killers. Because my first reaction upon hearing about Misty Benjamin is that I wanted to talk to her, understand how she feels, maybe give her a hug if she wanted one, rather than complete and utter contempt. I worry something is wrong with me, as well. I get this feeling that to respond the way she does, maybe she feels ostracized herself. Maybe people who feel the way she does just want a hug and somebody to talk to and understand them. Is it wrong of me to feel this way? I don't know.
I'll also admit I do feel a bit sorry for people who do these terrible things. I feel like something horrible must have happened in their lives to drive them to such terrible murder.

Was it most likely satire? Yes. Was she still really stupid for posting it on YouTube? Absolutely. It doesn't matter how jokingly you meant something people will see it however they want to see it and saying something that could be seen as being in defense of the bomber will cause people to react negatively.
Not sure if you did see the video or not, but it's quite clear that this isn't serious. She says the hardest part about it is that her pets have lost respect for her after seeing the video and that her cat has attempted suicide twice and is currently on suicide watch.NameIsRobertPaulson said:

So the vapid attention whore led with her chin and got smacked in the face. I really don't feel that bad for her, it's not so much about what she did it's more about why she did it. I'm sure she really doesn't care that much for the guy, it was all about the attention and views her video would get on youtube because it's controversial and everyone just HAS to see it to see what a deluded unamerican ***** she is.

I think this is her just taking the piss. I mean, when I saw this on 4chan nobody really gave that much of a shit. It was one guy getting angry over it and the rest of the thread was people telling him to chill out. Still, that was just the thread I saw so who knows. Who the fuck cares though, if it's real then maybe she's learnt a lesson in watching what you say.
