I'm really looking for a game to feed my RPG craving.
I've been searching, but i just can't find it! Something deep you can get lost in.

MMO's are alright... but they fall short more often than not.
Western, JRPG, doesn't matter! I just want a good experience!

Morrowind, Oblivion, Fallout 3, WoW, and Guild Wars are the one's i've played pretty extensively.

Hit me with your best shot.

KotOR, Dragon Age, Neverwinter Nights, Baldur's Gate, the Gothic series, you can munch on these for quite a long time, on the WRPG side.

Dragon Age: Origins, The World Ends With You, Persona 3/4, Chrono Cross/Trigger, Star Ocean 3/4, any Pokemon game (newer the better, imo), Final Fantasy IV (pretty much the only universally like one), Borderlands.

I could go on for days. What systems do you own?

Grab the Witcher Enhanced Edition.

Great game. The sequel is coming out soon as well.

Mount&Blade: Warband.

In fact, there's a sale on Steam for it now. There's also a demo on there.

Planescape: Torment. Baldur's Gate 1 and 2. Neverwinter Nights 1 and 2. They're a bit older, but are all considered pretty much the peak of the RPG-genre.

All of them can be found on gog.com for $10 or less, which also means it's DRM-free and you get a full installer, not the "we went bankrupt, so now you can't play anymore", no sir! The game is yours forever. :)

I'd have to go with The Witcher Enhanced Edition as well, if you want meaty nothing is better.
It's a really good, dark, mature game from Poland.

Baldur's Gate series.

Number II - Shadows of Amn is the best one and my favourite RPG ever by far.

If you've never played the Baldur's Gate series you are missing out BIGTIME.

Get DOSBox, download yourself a copy of Ultima VII: The Black Gate. This is the game that the Elder Scrolls keeps trying to be.

I just picked up an interesting cel-shaded western JRPG called Wild Arms 3. Looks interesting.

Lost Odyssey.

It's a damn good JRPG. One of the better stories in videogames. Play it with the Japanese dialog with subtitles tho, the English voice acting is horrible.
Only for the kids, honestly. Play it in French! The japanese audio is terribly unfunny in comparision.

That game had 5 fucking language tracks.
