Little idea I thought up when I heard two people talking about how they would make bad endings be good and I thought "What if someone did the opposite." So escapist community give your favorite story in any form the worst ending possible.

Mine would be the Titanic. If I could pick a terrible ending it would be Jack Dawson (Leonardo DiCaprio) swimming to New York after he realizes that in fact he is going to make it and he catches Rose DeWitt Bukater (Kate Winslet) getting it on with Tommy Ryan (Jason Barry)

Super Mario World:

Mario and Luigi finally fail to rescue the Princess, and she slowly starves to death in Bowser's dungeon. (Works for pretty much any Mario Bros. game, but SMW is my favourite.)
