Tbh I would be Elf (WoW, Warhammer, D&D or any), just cos most there background is comprised of two scenarios. 1) Lush home is destroyed fast/slowly and they dedicate there lives to saving nature and life that is left and 2) Were either corrupt or evil or plain arrogant to begin with but great war or disaster occurs which makes them realise there wrongs and so they embrace life and nature. Which I love, mean dont play now but I loved WoW night elves, loving D&D elves aswell since pretty same back and love druids so yep give me hippie Elves anyday

I suppose something like Nephilim from Exile/Avernum count...but then they live in a low tech setting, and tend to be less advanced than most races anyway, and Empire humans tend not to like them.

I don't think you would want to face the army of nerds that would lust after you.

I'd like to be an elf, but I'd rather be like the Milara'than elves of my stories that aren't arrogant little snots. They're like Hylians I guess, magical but otherwise human with a twist. Scandinavian culture. I've always wondered, to any Zelda fan who reads this: if Link froom OOT was a Hylian and Hylians are extinct by Twilight Princess and LTTP, where did they go and why are Link and Zelda exactly like Hylians?

The Asari. Being able to eschew gender politics and live for about a thousand years sounds really awesome.

Technically, you are just a human with magic that allows you to become a dragon. No change in race.
