Being a Krogan would be pretty sweet. Nigh immortal, and a complete badass in nearly every regard. Unfortunately, you have just look like a giant frog monster.

Do Spartans from Halo count? They are still technically human, but its really splitting hairs at that point. Its like saying the Space Marines from Warhammer 40k are human.

Don't know if they count as a race being sterile and all. A supemutant a la Fallout. Super buff ,nigh invulnerable, immune to diseas, and practically immortal you say? Apart from having to duck at pretty much every door I came to there would most certainly be no downsides. First off, this may not be from a game, but an Eledhel(high elf) from The Rift War Saga, by Raymond E. Feist.

If not, then a Dalish elf from Dragon Age, because I love their background, and their everlasting quest for knowledge of their past.

I'd be an elf because they can only die in the battlefield, and pointy ears are unnoticeable enough that they wouldn't look too weird but noticeable enough so that you can dress up as Link =)

A tie between Argonian and Xenomorph. On the one hand, xenos have awesome agility and great strength, but cant verbally communicate. Argonaian can breath underwater which is nice, but I really do want to be a xeno... tough choice but im going with Xeno. Long live the hive.
